Well… it’s worth a shot. Maybe you could pass by a few holiday gifts, or maybe even do chores around the house as a compromise. Or just ask up front for the money “No questions asked” style.
But what if they ask what it’s for? You’re surely not going to tell them what it’s actually for. Right?
