Boldly you counter, “What are yours?”

Ashley smiles, “I think counsel as forgotten whose courtroom you are in.”

“No disrespect is meant, your honor,” you play along, “but it is appropriate for the court to disclose its background so it can be known that there are no conflicts of interest.”

“I see,” Ashley grins, “well here is my ruling. The court will disclose this information, but it will also bring a contempt charge, which of course will bring extra punishment. Or, counsel can drop its request and avoid the contempt charge.”
