Ask for some money

You timidly catch Rachel as she continues her nightly bed-time routine. You find no organic way to address the topic so you decide to just say it. "Hey, I- I uh kinda spent the last of my money on groceries today..." You let the sentence hang in the air for a few moments as Rachel turns her full attention on you. You freeze up.

"Aaand?" She glares at you with a slight smirk hanging at the corner of her mouth.

"A- and I was kinda hoping that you could spare some for dinner tomorrow," you suggest with a timid chuckle.

Her look is immovable and difficult to read. Her body language appears stern and agitated, a slight scowl burrows across her brow. But still the slight, playful smirk sits in the corner of her mouth. "Seriously? An allowance? Am I your girlfriend or your mommy?" You can't help but squirm a little at her domineering tone.

"Fine, here's..." she trails off as she counts out her cash, "here's $100. But that will last you until next week, and you will get your chores done tomorrow." After taking the cash you meekly retire to your room, eager to not excite Rachel's wrath again.

*Note: You've gained some money, but your girlfriend's opinion of you has suffered slightly. She also won't forget how dependent you are on her, and may use it as leverage at a later time.
