"All right. I want names. Who are these people?"

The goblin appears nervous, but answers regardless. "Mistress Dajy. She's what some call a high succubus. Her crew is exactly what you described. Assassins, succubi, and gremlins. You might have seen most of it, to be honest. It seemed small when I saw it. But don't get me wrong. Mistress Dajy is a high ranking member in the Demon King's council."

You all look at one another.

"Demon King?" you ask.

Eva gasps. "You worked for a demon king?!"

"Not so loud!" Koblix looks around himself. "Yeah. Well, sort of. I worked for someone who works for him. I barely saw the guy himself. I think his name started with an S? He's relatively new to the area. Came from far away. Don't call him a rookie though, because he has some serious people doing his bidding."

"Like a high succubus," you say. "And I assume the Flame General Ithic."

"Not only that, but this vampire lady too. He has connections all over. Honestly, it's a real threat to the region. I'd normally say you'd be fine, since he isn't set up anywhere near this city, if you weren't being hunted by the one that's closest. Mistress Dajy normally resides in a hidden underground base northwest of here, past that little forest you'll see on any map. Her crew never goes through it though. Always around."

"Why?"

"If that is the woods I am thinking about, then that would make sense," Amara explains. "It is a forest known to be full of pixies. Even she would struggle to make it through unscathed."

"So what do we do?"

Niki shrugs. "I think it's obvious. Either we take her out, or she takes us out."

"Oh we are not rushing after a high succubus. We could barely manage fighting her entourage one at a time!"

Eva sneaks into the conversation with a clearing of her throat. "Can we decide what to do back at home?" she whispers. "It's d-drafty here."

"Drafty, huh?"

She puts her hand between her legs and fidgets in place. "Please..."
