“Well I learned the spell, so I just need lead. Oh but all this sounds so heavy, I need something to help carry it all.” You say finally, and a bit whiny you hate to admit.

He laughs just once, then says, “Here you want this, trust me.” He sets out a wide light brown leather belt with a holster for a large pistol, one big pouch on the left side opposite the holster, and what look like 10 very small pouches with little snaps holding them shut. “This is the least expensive carrying item I have. The big pouch holds up to 50 lbs, the 10 small ones up to 4 lbs each, and the holster halves the weight of the weapon inside. It also comes with a free 3” blade knife hidden under the buckle that is magic, but not all that powerful I have to admit. Let’s see with your credit that seriously limits your other options. I’d say you only have one good one.” He pulls out a rather large revolver, “This will fit in the holster. It is a .454, very powerful, use two hands firing it. It holds 5 rounds and comes with these 2, they are called speed loaders, they each hold 5 rounds at the ready, you use them like this.” He then demonstrates how to use them, “Your spell will create 25 bullets per casting. This is for general self defense, like I said, very powerful. Then for hunting food, well it can kill a person, if you place the shot perfectly, but mainly for hunting.” As he says this he pulls out a rather small and light looking bolt action rifle. “This is a .22 magnum, your spell will create 200 bullets, it uses these little 10 round magazines, I’ll give you three. Then because I’m feeling nice here is two weeks of trail rations, a water conjuring spell and canteen to hold it in, and either a dress or a pair of jeans.”

“Awe come on, how about both?” You beg.

“Fine both.” He hands you a pair of light blue hip hugging jeans and the dress, which is more of a tunic, maybe, it is grey sleeveless, low cut in front, and both sides are completely open and loose with small ties at the waist so it doesn’t simply flap open in the wind. Once you have it on you realize that with that design it allows easy access to your pistol and the pouches. Plus if you had a second small pistol you could easily hide it somewhere around your waist.

“Umm, cool so now I guess I’m going through the gate.” You say suddenly terrified and with no gem for the demon to spy on you, it seems silly to continue. Then again if you don’t he might hunt you down.
