Ask for a dress code exemption

I'd be happy to attend. However, as you said earlier, we 'had some fun with exposure', and some of us have never stopped. I'm sure you as well as anybody else know what I'm talking about. I'd like to be exempted from the dress code and show up to the reunion in my famous outfit, if you know what I mean.
