As the senior angel, Hip, at the Great Court of Heaven

Are you surprised to see I'm an angel in this one? As I've said before, angels are rather a lot like demons. The key to portraying either will be the strength of my deception and the power of my Pink Trigger. I thank you, reader, for joining me in the act and becoming my accomplice on this story.

Not only am I an angel, but I am a senior angel with a lot of experience. My underling is Cornelia; she's the one you and I are both here for.

Eiserne Jungfrau as a group- really, the whole Great Court of Heaven- is not something you'll find in the Witch Hunt's assembled texts. I gained knowledge of these governing bodies only through the knowledge imparted to me by the witch who sponsors me. However, upon learning of Eiserne Jungfrau, I was immediately fascinated by these angels, counterparts to demons, who hunt witches and enforce storyline and mystery genre consistency on game-boards such as Beatrice's. Ironically, they're sort of fantasy figures who won't allow fantasy to exist. These ladies could be my worst enemies, but they could also be fascinating conquests, especially if you, like I, appreciate that Eiserne Jungfrau specifically are all cute cleric girls in thigh-high garter stockings.

"Please allow me to speak... I am Cornelia, a third-class priest and junior inquisitor of Eiserne Jungfrau. I thank you for taking me into your care for today's evaluation and hope to meet your expectations, Inquisitor Hip."

Allow me to fill you in on the minutia of this set-up. Cornelia here believes that today is a training day, where she'll be taking part in a work study, kind of like shadowing one's mentor. That studious and hard-working young angel sees me as her senior, however... I cannot guarantee I have absolute authority over her. You see, as much as I've managed to inflate my position here, I'm not actually a member of Eiserne Jungfrau. I'm relying on this sort of loophole to make do with my lack of knowledge of the structure of the Great Court. Call this flexible writing, if you will. What it means is this: while I may be able to take extensive advantage of Cornelia's newness and naivety, I may have a difficult time actually pulling rank on her.

At any rate, let's get straight to it. That's a fine greeting, Cornelia, but there is no need to be so formal with me. Please, simply call me Hip. There's no need to use Gertrude's catch phrase either while you're around me.

"Please allow... Okay. I will try to be informal," she agreed, looking a bit uncomfortable already. Ah, my cute junior... even as I told her that I hoped we could be friends, I was already imagining a much more intimate relationship. "I've completed all preparations. I'm ready to conduct today's study in whatever way you see fit."

Whatever way I see fit? That almost makes this too easy. Indeed... where should we go to begin today's study? The Great Court is not exactly bustling today... but there are still a few people here, even when court isn't in session. It might be a pretty strange place to choose if I want to have sex. Perhaps it would be easier to go to Rokkenjima, where I know the insides and outs of the island? That would, after all, be a mystery setting... she probably wouldn't question my taking here there and she'd have a nice mystery to sink her teeth into.
