Chapter 25

What's next?
Arron has a decision to make
The morning after found Sarah mulling about in the kitchen, trying her best not to look at her father with an amused look or even a look in general. He was sitting at the kitchen counter, a bitter look on his face, as he rubbed absent-mindedly his shoulders. She had picked up that he had left the bra on overnight and the straps had dug into his shoulders and back, leaving him feeling pains in areas he would not have normally felt them on. In part, she wondered just how far out of his head he must have been to have forgotten to take them off the night before.
"Any luck on the job front?"
He sighed and placed the emails in front of her to read and review. After finishing the rest of his coffee, he turned and looked at the top one. "I'm kinda leaning towards the secretary 2 position, it's sort of what I did back east, though I'm not sure how much it'll play off being a woman in this." He leaned back in the chair. "Plus, we have the issue of how exactly do I pull off being your mom, considering she was buried and reported dead. I can't just take her id and everything."
She nodded at that and finished leafing through the rest of the paperwork before handing it back to him. "Well, we can take care of that, remember? It's not too hard, especially if we make a call to Uncle Tom. He said he would help you if you needed it."
Arron shook his head for a moment and was about to tell her to forget it when there was a knock on the door. He blinked and then groaned softly. "Shoot, I forgot I promised Hannah I would go with her shopping."
Sarah gave him a remorseful smile before she walked over and let her in. The other woman had come into the kitchen and smiled warmly at him. "Ready to go? Got an early sale at the mall, can't miss it!"
How cliche is this? he muttered internally but he instead smiled and after excusing himself, walked to the bedroom and quickly threw on a pair of her jeans (it was a bit of a struggle to get it up but luckily it fit over his ass) and then an oversized shirt to hide the obvious bulge in front. He had planned on taking off the bra and his boobs but instead, he adjusted it carefully and after tightening the straps a bit to keep them firmly in place, Arron fixed his hair a bit and then walked back out. Sarah winked her approval at him and the two walked out of the house. It was easy to deflect letting her drive and they piled in to her sedan and they pulled out.
Despite his misgivings about the endeavor, it was rather fun to be walking around, talking with another adult, and despite the fact that he was in public as a woman, it was a nice change of pace. Arron still hated the fact that there were more than a few men giving him looks and checking him out (half the time, he felt like punching them, the other half he felt he wanted to bury his head in the sand somewhere.) Did every woman feel this way towards unwanted attention?
"...so, I was wondering something..."
Arron turned and looked at his shopping partner for the past hour. "Yes?"
"New place, new life beginning...did you want to change your hair color? I know a place, they work wonders with my hair, and yours is so perfect..."
Another hair color? "I dunno, never really thought about it..." Which was true, he never really even thought about it. Hannah, bless her soul, smiled her puppy-dog smile and he internally groaned, knowing the woman would not let it go until he really thought about it. "Do you think I should?"
"Can't hurt. Your hair's a lovely color, though..."
To blonde or not to blonde...
