Arron's got papers

Arron sat quietly at the kitchen table with the file of papers in front of him and a cup of hot coffee on one side and a list of more documents on the other, just staring at his hands in front of him. Sarah, for her part, told him that she was surprised at the changes he had made, especially going blonde, but reassured him that he looked great. It was just unexpected that he would take that step. Adding in that the makeup only made him look all the more feminine had probably been a bit too much but her father merely smiled at that and sighed.

"Your aunt is a miracle worker, that's for sure. Everything's here, birth certificate, medical records, school transcripts, vita, professional references..." He looked at the name. "Hell, I'm more her than me at the moment."

Sarah looked at the name. "Erin Nicole Andrews, nee Matthews." She looked at him. "I like Nicole...wasn't that grandma's name?"

"Nicolette but close."

The two of them sat there for a few more moments before she looked at the emails. "These aren't the first batch of job offers, are they?"

He pointed to another stack on the counter behind her. "They're over there. These came in earlier today and after talking with Hannah and Marjorie, I decided to do some follow-ups with these. I managed to snag two callbacks so far."

Arron turned in the chair and after a few breaths, did the best he could and smiled. Sarah took the picture and after tapping some filters, sent it to her uncle and aunt.
