Arriving at School

Lazily opening your eyes, you come to and hear the slightly ominous tune of Rachelle Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. The song is hinting to you that the first bell of school is dangerously imminent and you better get going. You hit the stop button on your phone alarm and begrudgingly pull yourself out of bed.

According to your phone, you had 10 minutes to get to school, meaning you had 5 minutes to get ready. You look in the mirror and see a blue eyed brunette girl with bad bed head. You take a deep sigh and ready yourself to unleash your normal ritual to get ready.

You did not necessarily consider yourself top of the class when it came to magic, but when it came to a few choice things that made your life easier, you were a goddamn Morgan le Fay.

Your eyes begin to glow very slightly and suddenly makeup, hair brushes, curling irons and even your tooth brush begin flying all around you. In a moment, it looks like 10 salon workers are readying you all at once. Water floats out of the facet in an amorphous shape into your mouth to rinse, while clothes and shoes begin flying out of your closet. Within 4 minutes, you look completely ready, with your hair and makeup done and sporting black leggings with a striped top and light jean jacket. Thankfully you had a full 5 minutes this time or you would've had to use your conjuration again to throw on a veil for the whole day.

You blow yourself a kiss in the mirror and then head downstairs, where your mom and brother had already left for the day. With no time to eat, you hop in your yellow convertible and book it to school.

When you pull up to the impressive academic building, you see the last of the normal rush of students heading through the doors. You take your time anyways and get everything in your fashionable backpack that carries your laptop and books. You get out of your car and casually walk into school as the first bell rings.
