Arrive at City Hall

Twenty minutes later, Janet and her mother pulled up to the point by city hall where the police had barricaded the streets. Her mother pulled over in front of a nearby alley.

"I'll wait here for you." Her mother said as Janet got out of the car. They had argued about the costume. Eventually Janet had agreed to wear it, but under her street clothes. Her mother seemed offended she wasn't wearing the outfit she'd worked so hard to design. Janet put the mask over her eyes, sighing nervously.

"Okay mom." Janet closed the door. "Wish me luck."

Then she turned and ran into the alley. Building up speed she jumped, flying up to the roof of the building. She landed, stumbling a few steps. This time she managed to not shatter the concrete when she landed. She was getting better. That was good, because those new weapons her enemies had were no joke. Janet hoped to get there, get the drop on them and take the mortal women out before they were even aware of her. That was the plan, at least...
