Arrested

The security guard grabbed Lauren’s wrists and pulled them behind her back and cuffed them. “Hey!” Lauren yelled. “What are you doing?”

“You’re under arrest for attempted robbery, indecent exposure, and battery against an officer of the law,” the security guard said. “I’ll bring you to the holding cell we have here at the zoo, and then we’ll talk more about everything and the charges that may be pressed against you. I will also be making sure there isn’t anyone looking for a lost girl who claims to be 23 years old running around in a diaper. And if that diaper has any urine or fecal matter in it, I will add a public urination charge to the list.”

Lauren’s eyes widened as the officer hauled her out of the store completely naked and unable to cover herself, and the diaper only made things more embarrassing. The security officer loaded her into a police golf cart designed clearly for the zoo.

The security officer drove all the way across the zoo, far away from the entrance and pulled her into a big gray building. He led her to a cell that had a jail toilet where the sink was connected to the toilet and a singular window that was barred. The door itself was barred as well and there was a bunk bed. The security officer closed the cell behind her but did not undo the cuffs. “I’ll be back. I’m going to file a missing child report just to see if someone responds,” the security officer said. “If no one shows up, we’ll have a stern talk about everything that has happened today and what the next steps will be going forward.”

Lauren’s eyes widened, terrified at what might happen if no one actually showed up. She didn’t want to go to prison! And in that moment. She wet herself.

“I’ll be adding public urination to the list,” the security officer said. “You better hope someone shows up with your charge list.”

Lauren whimpered as the officer walked away, leaving her in her wet diaper.
