Armed and Ready to Go

Three additional objectives appeared for Alexis for the quest.

[Optional] Convince Amata or another vault dweller to help you avenge your father's **** at the hands of the Overseer.
Reward: -2 Karma and helpful supplies from the person you convince.

Optional: Kill all radroaches in Vault 101, putting a stop to the infestation.
Rewards: +2 Karma, Roach Exterminator Perk.

[Optional] Help others escape with you.
Rewards: +2 EXP for everyone you lead out of the vault.

[Optional] Escape without killing any people.
Rewards: Pacifist Weapon and +3 Karma.

Alexis took the gun, checking it over as she did. She made sure it was seemingly in functional order, before loading it and putting it in her belt. "I might need this once I get out of the vault," Alexis said with a nod at Amata.

"Right… who knows what is out there," Amata said with a nod. "But what if you run into trouble here?"

"That's what these are for," Alexis said as she picked up her BB gun and baseball bat.

New Items Added:

• BB Gun (Gun: 1 Non-lethal Damage)
• 10mm Pistol (Gun: 2 Ballistic Damage)
• Baseball Bat (Melee: 2 Blunt Damage)

Alexis hefted the baseball bat for a moment. She had never had the upper body strength to really swing this thing. But maybe a lucky strike with it could save her life. Especially if she was disarmed of her guns or otherwise unable to use them. At the very least, it would come in handy to crush any radroaches she encountered. She put it on her back and checked over her BB gun. What had been a childhood gift from her father and Johnas had become her escape over the years. Something she could take with her down to the reactor to shoot pellets at targets or any stray radroaches. Her time spent with it gave her confidence in using both it and the pistol effectively. Though she had already decided the pistol was for outside the vault. She did not know about hurting anyone… though if what Amata said about Johnas was true… maybe some vengeance was what she needed.

"I'm going to go try and find that password," Amata said as she reached the door. "Hopefully security will let me pass or at least I may be able to distract them for you. Meet you at my dad's office."

"Understood," Alexis said, nodding to her friend before Amata left her. She readied herself for a moment. BB gun out and loaded. She crouched down before peaking out of her room only to see Officer Kendall right there in full security armour with his baton already out. She he must have been sent after me, was all Alexis could think. She tried to raise her gun but she froze up. Could she really attack someone? Sure the BB gun pellets were non-lethal but would they even stop Officer Kendall? She could feel the actual gun against her leg. A 10mm bullet would definitely put him down. He did not seem to notice her peek out around the door as another sound caught his attention.

"Damn roaches!" He called out as four of them suddenly swarmed him from around the corner. This was Alexis' chance. She could get a shot in while he was distracted… but against who? Him or the radroaches? What about her real mission, which was escape? Was now not also a perfect opportunity to try and sneak away? So many options and decisions to make. Officer Kendall squashed a radroach with a swing of his baton but took a couple bites in return crying out in pain. He was going to get pushed back by them towards Alexis. It was now or never. She stepped out into the hall and…
