Location: The Beast's Forest

"Rock on with these sparkling gazes! We've come to lend a paw and help!!! Coming out of nowhere... Stingingly cute and catlike! Wild, Wild Pussycats!!!" The wild wild pussycats made the whole coreography, dancing, movements, singing even Ragdoll who was wearing her suit instead of the skirts and cutesy outfits the others wore, I was able to recognise them all, Tiger, Mandalay, Pixie-Bob and of course Ragdoll.

"Well now... That was something!"

"Hehehe sorry we have to do this with every newcomer, we are just excited to see more students ready to learn" Mandalay said approaching extending her paw... Hand... Glove paw... For a handshake "You must be Jack, name is Shino Sosak, hero name Mandalay, mind if I give you a tour around the place?"

"That's what I am here for"

"How about we show you around the schedule, bedrooms you will be staying, activities we have planned and other things? Sounds good! Usually we would organise something more fun if there was more people around but uuuuuh... Yeah no one is around so all our attention will be focused on you"

"Golly, feeling like a k-pop star right now with so many followers"

"Come along we will give you a tour, uuuh Ragdoll mind doing some paperwork for us back at the building, while I show Jack where he will be staying for the moment being, Pixie you go along and get the mud beasts ready while Tiger prepares some classes of self defense for you as well"

"Seems like I will be sweating the next few days"

"That would be the idea Jack" Everyone went their own way, Ragdoll seemingly happy but from here I could feel her emotions were quite mixed in her brain, perhaps I will check on her later.

Location: Housing location

"Actually I am kind of glad its just you, we want to try and host more people in the forest more often so we started a new program with small housing buildings that could occupy two people at once, its a good idea to attract those that are training to be heroes, gain some money in the process and make this place better for all of us right? Sadly you will be staying alone there but don't worry, there is a big house up there where you will be able to find us, we will do the theorical lessons there, although I believe you are a bit advanced for that, so if you are looking for us you can go there, Ragdoll mostly stays there working as our secretary, any doubts or questions?"

"Yeah... How does your quirk work?"

"Telepath grants me well... telepathy, to the point where I have the ability to communicate with anyone through thought. I can instruct and send messages to multiple people at once as well. My range is able to take a whole area but I cannot communicate with like a thousand people at once, but it was enough to reach everyone inside The Beast's Forest at once, so perhaps the range of a neighborhood. Telepath is only one-way communication, so I cannot hear my targets' thoughts or receive responses"

"One way communication then, got it, if you were to communicate with a random person in the forest but you don't know this person, could you do it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Imagine, I don't know, let's say, Bobo the man, its walking around the forest, you have never seen nor know this man, could you send the message regardless?"

"Nope! I need to know the person and if they are around or I won't be able to send the message"

"Good to know, interesting power, will keep in mind"

"I will let you settle yourself in! We will have a meal all of us together later alright? Tomorrow you train with Pixie and by the end of her training you train with me, then Tiger! You will go through all Wild Wild Pussycats"

"Sounds fun, see you later miss"

"Purrrfect!" She waves goodbye in her own cat fashion way... It was a bit awkward to be honest

"... Funny" I looked at her and decided to give a call from my phone to my dad, not picking up I sighed and leaved a message "Yo! I am about to recruit four for the hero agency, if we have a building or at least the foundations or documents let me know for when I am done here." I hung up and took my stuff to my room, mostly my hero equipment, I thought about taking my hero costume to the building up there, but I decided instead to leave it there and go in a more casual outfit to meet up with whoever hero was there, however as I step out the sun hit me, I didn't realise how sunny it was today so decided to take a six-pack beer with me and walk along the way.

Location: Teacher's building

I entered the place it was empty

Chairs empty, waiting room empty, a single fan turned on... Huh they have energy here, good to know I won't be living like a caveman then, I walked around the place the only thing being heard were my steps echoing on the empty rooms, I decided to do some investigation of my own, took the chance to go into different rooms and learn the place, the first room as expected was simply just a waiting room with multiple classrooms, toilets, even two small changing rooms for male and female respectively it seemed, I found some old documents and gave them a look as well, mostly tax forms that have been resolved and other documents of lent money that had been paid, seems like their washed up hero group has been having a rough time for a while now... Oh well I shrugged walking away, I looked the staircase and went upstairs.

I looked at the doors, realising they had names, each with the respective hero names, must be their rooms, I didn't want to bother anyone, not without reason at least but then I heard the clicking noise inside one of the rooms and decided to approach.

As I got closer I could hear visibly the clicking of a keyboard, it was easy to distinguish due to us living in a technological era, I peeked around the open door and noticed ragdoll on the suit we arrived on working, she looked bored out of her mind, her vision unfocused, like lifeless in a way, almost like if she was under mind control, which is kind of ironic.

I simply stood there staring waiting for her to notice me but she didn't seem to turn away from the computer, I decided to perhaps let her know "Uhm- Hi" She kept typing ignoring me before I knock on her door, harder than usual, she then stopped clicking and turned to look at me. She had a serious expression on her for a brief moment, it looked quite scary...

That's until she properly saw me and changed her expression "OH! HI JACK! I didn't see you there for a moment"

"You don't need to act happy around me"

"What do you mean?" She tried to feign ignorance, I lean closer looking at her computer, it was a bunch of digits, numbers, most likely something about accounting.

"Seems like you really must hate doing this work, yeah I would actually be like you if I had to do this everyday while my best friends go out to fight crime and stop evil-doers and be heroes, even if you know your popularity has been in decline" She stood quiet trying to keep her smile, I could tell she was about to break. "Regardless I want you to think for a moment not of me as a student but as an adult, young adult that also does hero work and understands life is hard, not one of your japanese students from U.A that see everything rainbow coloured" I hand her a beer.

"Uhm Jack there is a legal age for drinking, are you old enough?"

"Sure, what's the age for drinking"

"That doesn't sound like you are old enough..."

"I am, I am! If its over 18 or something haha, besides who cares, who you gonna tell? The cops or perhaps gonna deliver me to Mandalay, come on, let's have a few cold ones and drink and chill, nothing bad right? This job must be so stressing" I used my power of suggestion to lower her inhibitions but I realised I didn't need to she was more than willing to drink some beers, she took the can pop it open and start it to chug it down.

"Aaaaah I needed this..." I smirked as she actually smiled happy, actually happy... For once...
