"Jack hurry" Tsu said as she was hopping on top of the wall from the U.A academy

"I can hurry but in doing so I am 100% getting another fine, Ah fuck it" I simply jumped and made the ground as bouncy as possible each time I landed, as I started to hop trying to mimick Tsu but not jumping in all 4 like she was doing so, we simply head back to the U.A arriving to the classroom as fast as we could, today I was having for the first time hero lessons so I was pretty excited about that... Wait... I stopped on my tracks as Tsu looked back at me, as I was wondering, why the hell was I excited about hero lessons, I have done hero lessons thousands of times what changes this?

"Jack is everything okay?"

"Ah yeah sorry I was thinking if I forgot uuuh my japanese book or something back home"

"... Wanna talk about something?"

"Huh, no! Its okay really its just I got sidetracked"

"... You are a bad liar sometimes, but if you don't wanna talk about it, its okay... Also I will be a bit distant today but not because I don't wanna spend time with you but rather because we have spent last three days together and... You know"

"Nor that" I pouted a little as I simply rushed back to class as Tsu take the lead forward.

Location: U.A Academy

I made it just right on time, we got english our first class again with present Mic, the next two hours I became the center of attention due to the fact I speaked native english I was helping Mina, Oijiro, Sero and others left and right, it felt nice being needed like this sometimes, but also it felt like they were using me... No, not really, they weren't using me but I just felt bad and guilty sometimes. The next two hours were fast really. Then we had japanese which I don't struggle much with, maybe on the writing part but I have noticed some of the others having issues as well so I felt relaxed about it, but then the moment I was waiting for came around, freaking hero lessons bitches!

Today's hero lesson was going to be directed by All Might himself which is kinda cool, he is one of the few heroes I respect from Japan or so I thought really... Everytime I think about heroism here it makes me feel bad about myself for some reason, it was never like that at Nemo, I don't get what's wrong with me lately.

"... And like so" All might said "We will be training our quirks in couples, does anyone have any question" I actually did, I never went and see the hero lessons of the others last time, I saw from afar it was basic training, nothing too relevant but I wanted to see if All Might was going to do something like at Nemo so I raised my hand "Ah Jack, glad you are asking questions"

"Yeah thanks, so uhm, is this going to be synergy course? Quirk Sparing or a gauntlet? Or perhaps some hero mission on the outside or what we doing?" They all looked at me confused is this not how hero lessons go here? Oh god are we picking up trash by the beach? I hate doing that.

"Oh no, nothing like that we usually have to prepare a proper field for that, you might get one soon but we probably will invite class 3-b for it, you guys will just be practising your quirks together and I think its a good idea you get to know some of your teammates as well Jack, you will be paired up this first hour at random and then the next hour with another random person, I shall start the draw for the moment being" I looked to my left at Izuku who was on his hero suit and for once I striked conversation.

"Huh I didn't expect you here"

"Just because I am quirkless doesn't mean I don't have to do hero lessons remember, at least when we train quirks I can give pointers, I have a journal and everything, I call it Hero Analysis for the Future, I started a new chapter for you even"

"Cool cool..." OH FUCK I AM GOING TO GET PAIRED UP WITH THE QUIRKLESS MUTTERING GUY "Q-question can we pick our teammates?"

"No we prefer its random that way you get to know everyone"

Fuck me I thought to myself "... Wait did you say you are taking notes of my quirk"

"Aha, want to see what I have so far?" I actually did, someone keeping track of everything I can do can be troublesome for the future, god damn it.

"I would rather talk about that in another time" I noticed All might doing the draws, mostly names I wasn't completely aware of or that I am not well related to at first, Saw Tsuyu get paired up with Sero, then it was Koji alongside Bakugo, then other couples I don't remember, by the end of the picking there was 8 of us left, between those 8 Midoriya who I fear the most being paired up with me.

"Alright next picking is..." All Might pulled out my name "Jack Anderson, good, alongside... " Please let it not be Midoriya, I prayed to the gods in the sky. "Minoru Mineta!" I looked to my right, oh shit I forgot the other worse option.

"We cannot change partners right?" I asked quickly

"No you can't, now get to it I shall drop some assignments for later" 'Fuuuuuuuck' I sighed, my inner voice going nuts today. Mineta approached me with a grin.

"Don't worry dude, this is the perfect time to talk about... The thing" The thing? What thi- OH RIGHT he is my informant isn't he?

"F-fine but if you say something weird. I swear to god..."

HERO LESSONS!!

We were given a list to fill up by the end ouf our lessons.

• How does your powers combined could help in a team situation or rescuing mission?
• What’s your biggest weakness in a fight and how can your teammate compensate?
• Could your powers combined be used defensively as well as offensively?
• How do you adapt when your teammate's power is neutralized or restricted?
• Finally give a name to your hero team?

At the end there was a picture of All Might giving us a thumbs up as if trying to tell us to do our best.

I was next to Mineta sitting there in annoyance "So my quirk is-" Mineta said before getting interrupted

"I know what your quirk is Mineta, 'Pop Off' in english, MogiMogi allows you to produce sticky spheres from your head that you can pluck painlessly, your stickiness depends of your health, your stickiness can not affect you if you do not wish so, for some reason but I shall assume its like a spider's web, our quirks can be combined- And I shall answer this in order."

"To use the sticky points and my morphing quirk to simply get people out of rubble, trouble without them falling down or being harm by my edges or if I get distracted while using my quirk, my biggest weakness is range, you can actually get villains stuck in position and with enough time I can close the gap, even launch it at them if they are flying to bring em down, our powers can be combined the first and second way with me as a heavy hitter and you as support, if you are neutralized I handle everything, our hero team is Jack'd Grape Soda" I clapped not wanting to do the assignment with him, but instead of watching him accept what I just said he looked pissed at me.

"Tsk, I am just trying to talk to you dude, What is your deal today? I may not be as cool as Midoriya but I am not this dense, sorry you were paired up with me"

"My deal? No, its your deal, you just want to get with a girl and for me to help you with, I don't care let's get to business"

"We can also be friends you know, you don't need to be so cold, maybe we can hang out at lunch? And also all those questions are answer from your perspective, they gave us one paper for both of us, we need to fill it in both perspectives together"

"Why the hell would I do that? If my quirk gets neutralized What the fuck are you going to do with the guy that did it? Fucking place a grape on the ground?"

"So we can get to know each other? And my quirk works for mobility I can get you out of there - Or wait, do you mean the filling up the paper together because these are our grades, look I understand that I might not be the best student or the best person at least on your eyes but I still am a person, I don't want to deal with you being all angry and annoyed at the time" I looked at him angry and annoyed at the time, which quickly remind him his place.

"BUT we don't have to if you don't wanna! Hahahah"

Looking at him being scared of me, made me feel weird again "No, its whatever, just in a bad mood"

"When are you not in a bad mood?"

"Fuck off. Look let's get the thing out of the way so we can both go our ways"

"Pft... Yeah here" He hand me like 5 papers all folded

"... Printers exist"

"Its printed dude" I opened them, oh yeah he did print them, lots of info of many students, this was perfect to get great quirks on my idea and see how can I build from there, many alliances, many hero associations and working agencies, I guess dragon agency was also already on my bag to help me grow... Ryukyu Agency... I kept reading all these agencies, fourth kind, night eye, fat gum, Wild Wild Pussycats, so many names, I was trying to remember all of them as mineta did our assignment for us, all the others were showing off, testing their quirks together mixing them... Mineta looked upset, kinda sad that I wasn't doing anything with him, fuck was I the bad pick? Even Midoriya was doing something. NO, I should focus on the mission.

As I kept reading I noticed something- "Hold on, Mineta, this momo girl, what is this agency?" He looked to me to try and see

"Oh, Uwabami agency? She is like this snake lady, super hot tha-"

"NO, Not that one horny moron, this last one."

"AA Agency? I don't know, Momo said she was going to currently work with them since they offer them some sort of hero special course that they wanted to start applying to Japan, not sure what AA stands for though, she said it was suuuper special cause they came from Argentina at first, I am not sure where's that... Is that it?" He asked annoyed

"Aegis Advocate Agency, A defender of the innocent who shields others with unshakable resolve. I know this agency I worked with them, but the name has a double meaning, this is Adam's Anderson Agency, Adam Anderson is the owner"

"Huh, cool, Anderson like your last name right?"

I looked back at him for a brief moment in complete silence, staring at him

"...Oh... Are you related... OH crap its Adam Anderson your dad?"

"Yes its my fucking dad and the fact he went to talk with Momo its- Just- Why her?"

"I don't know cause she is a great hero?"

"... No its just- I- Mineta this is real?! If you are fucking with me I swear to-"

"Dude relax, you are panicking I am not messing with you that's what I find... What is wrong with you"

"Panicking? With me? With fucking me? Wh- What- You...." I sighed I was practically standing up ready to blast him off with an earthquake of my powers, this was usually the hostility at Nemo but here Mineta looked, worried about me, What was I doing?

"Y-you are right, sorry, I am under so much stress right now and I am taking it out on you for some reason... This information is precious Mineta, I am thankful I will actually pay you for this"

"Eh no need take it as a favor, you seem a bit distress and worried sometimes, I hope you can change that."

"... I do don't I? Heh, yeah... Fuck 30 minutes left... Mineta sorry for being a cunt, let's do this assignment together" I extended my hand so he would stand up "We should use our quirks right?"

"So does that mean we are friends now dude?"

"Don't push it. Once more." He looked back at me a bit annoyed "But- We are allies if that helps"

"Meh that helps... Let's Ace this assignment!" After working out on the assignment we got a C turns out I shouldn't have let Mineta change our answers because he wrote a bunch of crazy batshit on how to use our powers being extremely impractical and kinda worthless.
