Arc 1: Midnight

3 Days later, Location: Jack's home

The air was sharp with cold. A thick fog clung to the earth, swirling lazily around gnarled roots and damp underbrush. The path, slippery from the rain it fall as I was sleeping,the trees making a comfortable sound as the wind blowed, as the silhouetes were looming outside of my window. It was the perfect morning to stay in bed and yet I couldn't do that, 3 days ago was my first introduction to the academia so I had to get up and go today this monday and get to the actual classes I was given the schedule program and Midnight sent me the list with the heroes during that weekend I ask my father to sent me the information from the agencies algonside the work each hero that was sent to me has done, after some breakfast, shower, morning excercise alongside some quick studying and preparation for today's class I decided to head out.

I stepped out of my house... Still raining quite a lot, I brought a change of clothes just in case some bastard got all funny and decides to spray me with water as they drive their car or some quirk kid suddenly blows air at me or something overall it was a good idea to have a change of clothes, also the idea of fighting Eijiro.... Kirishima, most know them as that from what I heard... Was still looming there, could use it as leverage and showing off... so I decided to pack my gym clothes... Something I also dislike from the academy is that they use uniforms as well so that's dumb, I took out my umbrella and made my way there.

I quickly ran making my way there having a lot on my plate I knew that I had to start somewhre and with my vision blurried by the fog from the rain I simply kept going down my path not stopping at any moment, once I arrived at the academy I left my umbrella at one of the lockers, some of my new uniform was wet from the rain but I did not care much about that and made my way onto the classroom, I looked at the clock in the wall realising I was 20 minutes earlier to class, I saw a few students the guy with glasses that talks all strictly, the big titty lady Momo was her name, that fire guy that got beat up by his dad, Shoto, I didn't want to talk with them so I went looking for midnight around the hallway.

Making my way down the hallway and looking around I finally found myself in front of midnight who was ready to go to class, like some heroes she was actually wearing casual clothing, she did say she had retire from heroing so it does make sense to me "Miss Midnight" I spoke to her, wondering if I should start my plan... Might as well do it, I activated my quirk but didn't order nor do anything "Its good to see you I was looking for you actually I wanted to talk about helping me get into a hero agency"

"Huh? Right now? Jack darling class will start in 15 minutes"

"Well yeah, but no better time, if you are free that is..."

"I g-guess we could talk for a while, please come into my office" She opened the door for me as I follow behind her she sat on the desk looking at me with a smile. "So what exactly do you want to talk about"

"You said you were going to assist me finding a hero agency to work with, offered to get me inside the pussycats" I tried to not chuckle when I said that "So I was wondering if there was something I must or should do to make easier theses accomodations"

"OH NO! Jack don't worry about that for now you should just focus on your classes and accomodate to the academy instead, I will help you with that if you want hero work on the side, you are practically like a guest of honor on this academy"

"Good but I still want to do some hero work in the city"

"Well if that's the case I guess I could try and get you a test for the Provisional Hero License Exam, but issue is that is a biannual test organized by the Hero Public Safety Commission that grants capable students who pass each of its phases a Provisional Hero License. Meaning that unless that is about to start I cannot help you, perhaps it works differently where you are from, would you happen to have some hero license from Nemo?"

"I actually do must be arriving in a few days"

"Then!" She claps happy "Let's work with that and see if I can get you in an agency but for that you must show great usage of your quirk as well as a hero, you see the issue is not only getting you there I am putting my respect and word that you are a good hero but if you perfom poorly you are also putting me at stake here you see, so for now be the best student and prove to me you can be a good hero, Would you like some water?"

"I understand" I heard the question and decided to test how much my quirk has affected her "Do you have any soda?"

"Sorry no soda, this magnificent shape doesn't keep itself on high sugar and carbonated drinks you know"

"Oh that's okay... Could you buy me one? I left my money at home" Midnight for a moment doubted on buying him a drink but he was such a needy and good student right? He deserved a soda

"Okay okay, but you will have to pay me back later" Jack wanted to say he wasn't doing that shit but that might break the mind control so instead...

"Yes ma'am" He responded with a smile, slowly but surely he would be able to have control of the teacher on the finger of his tips. She bought a soda from the vending machine outside handed him orange, he disliked orange but that's what he gets for not specifying

"Now run along! That heroing won't be done alone right? Also you don't wanna arrive late to your class"

"Yes miss midnight, thanks for the drink" I said walking away feeling that today was a successful day

As I arrive to the classroom I got the idea to start using my power without any control around the place just to get a hold of the place but realised if I do many people at once I might ask something to someone and another person might try and do it without realising so it was a bit dangerous so for now I would hide my ability, there was also the chance a teacher noticing if I did it so it was better to not.

As I arrive at the place a few of the students approach me to welcome me to their classroom, I really didn't want any of these boring ass introductions but might as well make some friends to help me with my cover, the one who approached me first being Kirishima I remember him cause he was challenging me to a fight, so why not agreeing to it, put some natural order and show who was the king of the class.

As I waited for the next class to start I waved at him. "Zup" Its the only thing I said as he approached

"Hey Jack! I was wondering if perhaps at lunch we could go to the school's gym or maybe the tracking race, its not so far from here, back of the school big open place"

"Hm? I suppose, this is for your fighting session correct? The one that you asked a few days ago"

"Heh yeah! What would you like however? Quirk or quirkless brawl"

"Quirks, you want to learn my quirk right? Might as well try and find out as we fight and besides, fighting without powers sounds so boring don't you think" Also this was going to be easy...

"You got it dude! See you in modern world hero history"

"You have a class called world hero history but you don't know heroes outside Japan?"

"To be honest I don't pay attention to classes! But if you wanna talk about heroes you should try deku, he is always talking about heroes"

"Who is deku?"

"Oh right that's his nickname, Izuku Midoriya, green hair guy"

"Oh that guy" I sighed... "Wait doesn't deku mean something around doll?"

"Oh yeah but its like a very long story, he likes being called deku"

"... Right? I will go to my seat now" I stared back looking at the class, noticing Mineta giving me a thumbs up as if we were partners, that got me thinking... These girls at the academy aren't half bad...
