Aquilan Sheild

Doomscryers are powerful psykers the empire uses to predict the future. More specifically future catastrophes and how to avoid them. Aquilan Sheild's are Custodes tasked with helping the Doomscryers avoid these catastrophes.

Surprisingly the most common way to prevent these things is through small actions. As the flaps of a butterflies wings my cause a hurican, small actions in the present may start chains of events with unforeseeable consequences in the future. Well, unforeseeable for someone who isn't a Doomscryer. Aquilan Sheild's do these actions themselves or protect the people who are suposed to do these actions until these are done. This can take between a few moments to several years.

These people can be anyone. From space marines, to inquisitors, to imperial guards and even savilians. These Custodes will stay by their sides at all times, wether this person wants them too or not. Once the necessary actions are done, the Doomscryers will tell the Aquilan Sheild to return to base and wait for they're next prediction. However sometimes after a long time guarding someome these Custodes will find they have fallen in love with this person. So instead of just leaving, they will ask this person to come with her and be her lover. This person's new duty will be to please they're lover as they wait for the next prediction.
