April Fools Omake: Pixel's Cash Blowout

“Okay with a Kai Green for training, a Faith Conners for parkour, a Claire Redfield for anti-zombie training, and finally a Marcie for Gaige to torment, “ Ahsoka said as she added the last of the characters to the Collins Chattel Palace online cart, “that's 172 characters for James to pick from.”

“I still think we should try to see if we can bundle some of them,” Gwen Stacy interjected. “Some of the wording on this voucher makes me think we can get multiple lower grade characters or one premium.”

“And some of the options they have looks like it combines characters,” Erza said as she took over the mouse and keyboard and showed some human centipede characters, fusion characters, and cerberus characters. “James could just take them apart at his job, couldn’t he?”

The crowd of characters surrounding the computer started muttering and arguing with each other. The commotion almost came to a head when Marinette spoke up.

“Hey, is it a smart idea to have them added to the shopping cart? What if we accidentally checkout?” She asked knowing how easy it was to accidentally purchase things online. She had a massive crate of polka dot fabric in her room back in her home universe before she got snatched and sold.

“It's perfectly safe,” Ahsoka said as she went to the checkout and attempted to make the purchase and, to the relief of several members of the group, was met with a negative sound. No matter how many times she pressed the button, the same sound would be made and a pop up appeared saying ‘unauthorized character making massive purchase’. “See? No problem.”

“Ki Kirl Lia!” Exclaimed Pixel the Kirlia as she popped up by the computer and pressed buttons on the computer. This time no negative sound was made and instead a cha-ching sound was made. The crowd looked on in horror as the pop up that appeared said ‘Thanks for your purchase! Your characters are on their way!’. The crowd then stared at Pixel.

“Oh no…” Ahsoka said.

“How does the pet have greater authorization than you!” Laura shouted, causing Pixel to give her a smug look.

“Hey umm, why are we going to your house instead of mine?” you said, carrying a shrunken character container in your lap as your Auntie Samus drove you towards your parents’ castle/mansion. The character container contained all your allies from the Amazonian Tribe who didn’t need to be in quarantine. You looked outside to see that you were driving towards the familiar appearance of your parents' house.

“There was a situation after you disappeared,” your dad replied as he grabbed a Hetap classic beer from the minibar in the back of the limo. The car entered the gate easily as you turned to your dad.

“What kind of situation?”

“Well…” Your dad started to say before he pointed out the window. “Take a look for yourself.” You look out the window and see your familiar harem including Aelita, Starfire, Katara, Ahsoka and others but you also see a massive crowd of characters behind them giving the limo looks. They were oddly also standing in front of a house like building a bit away from the main castle.

“Why are there so many characters here? Are my siblings over?” You say as you start feeling a little dread. The characters in the container were also making noise.

“Well, you see,” your dad tries to explain but took his time to drink his beer. “Your harem was making selections for potential new harem-sisters for fun and well, Pixel authorized the purchase.”

“What?!” You shout in disbelief.

“Yup,” Your dad replied as the limo stopped in front of Aelita. “Have fun.” Your dad pushed you out of the limo and you landed in front of Aelita and Starfire who quickly helped you up.

“By the way! You’re broke now, the characters were expensive! The prefab has room for, well, everyone!” Your dad shouted as he closed the door and rolled down the window. “And for goodness’ sake, remove Pixel’s authorization level. I ain’t bailing you out next time!”

You just stare at your father before looking at Aelita and Starfire.

“Is it true? We’re broke?” Starfire and Aelita look at you glumly before Starfire cracks a smile.

“Happy Day of Fools James!” Starfire shouts as she embraces you lovingly. The background fades away revealing you were actually at your own house and the massive crowd had faded away to just the harem you knew you had.

“You all got me,” you laugh a bit relieved it was just a prank. “I see Gaige and Ahsoka finally were able to upgrade the holoprojector.”

“The Gwens and Callie helped a lot!”

“They called me when Pixel made the purchase and Frank was able to reverse the purchase,” your dad assured you. “I also cleared up the overdraft fee stuff with the bank.” You nodded in thanks before moving to greet the rest of your harem.

Your happy harem guided you inside your house as your dad drove away. Inside you introduced your harem with your Trash World allies and spent the day in celebration with other pranks mixed in.
