April 14th: Evening

I hoped Sojiro wasn't too angry with me as I stared at the door of the Leblanc. With a deep breath, I entered and was greeted by the slight of an annoyed Sojiro working on a crossword puzzle.

"You're late. Where have you been?" the man in pink asked gruffly as he set his paper and pencil down.

"The trains were delayed," I apologised as I scratched the back of my head in a sheepish manner.

"Don't gimme those lies," Sojiro scoffed as he shook his head. "By the way, you haven't been hanging around any bad influences, have you?"

"I actually made a friend," I explained, a bit relieved that the man didn't seem to be as angry as I initially feared.

"Huh, they've gotta be pretty strange to want to spend time with you," Sojiro said in a middle surprised tone.

I chuckled as I recalled Ryuji's zealous nature but soon frowned when I noticed Sojiro's glare.

"Just make sure you're careful who your friends are. You don't want them ruining your life," Sojiro stated, making me actually upset a little at the dismissal of my friends, before the man let out a tired yawn. "Look at the time. Seriously, think about how I feel having to stay up here waiting for you."

I headed to my room.

"Hey, I'm leaving," said Sojiro. "In the future try not to be so damn late. Understood?"

"I got it. Sorry for making you stay here for so long. Have a good night, Sojiro," I said as I made my way to my attic.

I heard my phone go off. Grabbing it, I saw it was from Ryuji talking about Morgana's idea.

[Ryuji: So, whaddya think about what Morgana told us?]

[Ryuji: I dunno if I get all that stuff about stealing desires.]

[Ryuji: And Kamoshida's gonna turn like, brain dead if we mess up, right?]

[Ryuji: I mean sure, I'm pissed at him.]

[Ryuji: But I dunno if I really wanna kill the guy.]

[John: He deserves it.]

[Ryuji: I mean, maybe I'm just freaking out but I don't wanna end up a murderer cause of this shit.]

[Ryuji: Oh well.]

[Ryuji: I'll try and see if I can come with some other way tonight.]

With the chat pretty much over and done with, I changed and proceeded to go to sleep as a lingering thought echoed in my mind. Stealing Kamoshida's distorted desires? Can we really do it?
