Approached by her leader

Brooke sighed as she looked at her paystub at the end of her shift. She only made $1.00 her entire shift and was instead met with many slips voicing their disappointment that their waitress wasn’t topless, bottomless, or naked. Brooke never liked showing off her skin, but she needed this job to pay for college.

Brooke was barely making enough to make her minimum needs each week combined with the hourly wage. Brooke was heading out but her shift leader, Danielle, noticed. “Hey, Brooke. Can you come into my office for a moment? I’ll make sure to adjust your clock out time.”

Brooke nodded and followed Danielle into the admin office. “What’s going on?” Brooke said.

“Sit down,” Danielle said gesturing to the black foldable chair.

Brooke nodded and did as she was asked. “Alright,” Brooke said.

“I have to inform you that you haven’t been making your minimum tips lately. And in fact, we have had several patrons complaining about you in particular,” Danielle said.

Brooke nodded. “I know,” she said. “They’ve written it on their bills.”

“So you’re aware what needs to change?” Danielle said.

Brooke straightened. “Please, Dani. I can’t… I can’t do bottomless or topless waitressing. It’s too embarrassing.”

“Well, unfortunately you don’t have a choice anymore. We’ve been told that we either have to let you go or you have to make a drastic change in your performance,” Danielle said.

“I can’t lose my job, Dani. I’m barely making enough as it is,” Brooke said.

“I know, and I don’t want to have to fire you,” Danielle said. “In my mind there’s only one way you can keep your job.”

“What? I’ll do anything!” Brooke said.

“You have to enroll in the Superstar Waitress program,” Danielle said.

“The… what?” Brooke said.

“You will need to waitress naked every shift, at least until you make your minimum tips each week, or you are to be termed effective immediately,” Danielle said. “You’re on probation Brooke. 2 more weeks of not making enough tips and you’re gone. This is the only way you can keep your job.”

“Naked?!” Brooke shrieked. “No way! I can’t do that!”

“Well, you have to,” Danielle said. “You work tomorrow during our lunch rush. You’ll either work the shift naked or you’ll be asked to leave without making up the rest of your shifts.”

Brooke gasped. She put her head in her hands. “Oh God…”
