Approach the Altar

A smooth stone altar. The carvings don't look like anything you've seen before. The entire building seems to be carved out of a single piece of smooth stone. You see more intricate details carved into the stone, with sinuous curves branching out from the strange sculpture in the center.

The area above the altar is carved into the wall, and there is a recess inside it.
