Apparently quite alot

Perparing for the ritual was easy it needed on sacrific of a bad person and a short chant

Jack had no moral dilema in deciding to kill his father and the chant was a peice of piss for him to learn

He had waited for his father to sleep before snapping his wand and slitting his throat he body started glowing as he chanted

The wind circled faster and faster until there was a boom and a jolt of pure power filled Jack leaving him in a world of pain and it had the side effect of disposing of the body of his father

He tried his mothers wand the following day while she called the aurors when she didnt see her husband the next day and was shocked to find no change

He still lacked magic

Fabian Denis was declared missing and a search started while Jack was searching for the book which lead him here

But it seemed to have vanished

Jack cast it out of his mind and continued his life as normal
