Apollo decides to stand firm as himself, but is tested by a handsome guy.

Despite the instincts of this new body tempting him, and the advice Trucy had given him, Apollo decided to stand firm and just act like he usually did until he had to leave for the magic show. With that in mind, he began actively trying to ignore the stares he was getting from so many of the bar patrons and went back to sipping his non-alcoholic beer with focusing on his own thoughts. For one thing, he was only able to take this break thanks to it being a week-long holiday in Khura'in, and the day after he flew back he'd be thrown right back into that never ending slew of court cases. Being the only defense attorney in a small country was stressful, to be sure, but it was also appealing. Plus, while he missed his friends here, Nahyuta, Rayfa and Ema were all there with him, so he wasn't really alone.

By this point, the sexy girl at the bar, sitting at a table for two by herself, was smiling while looking off in the distance, and someone decided it was the perfect time to try and keep her company. Just as Apollo was going to start mentally preparing for his next case, whose trial started the day after he got back, a man came over and sat across from her. "I hope I'm not intruding," he said, grinning ruefully at her. "I just thought you looked a little lonely, could use some company." Then the man extended a hand to Apollo. "I'm Justin Case, and you are?"

The man's words broke Apollo out of his thought process and he was suddenly blinking, trying to catch up on who this guy was. He had a bit of the typical 'hipster' look, with a short cropped beard, carefully messed up hair, and a red and black plaid button-up shirt. And after putting all that together, his first thought was, 'Wow, this guy is really cute.' His second thought was, 'Oh crap, he extended his hand!' and so Apollo quickly grabbed the guy's hand with his own dainty, feminine own and said, "I'm Pauline Justice, and I wasn't lonely, actually."

Justin laughed, and it annoyed Apollo how cute he thought it made him look. "My mistake then." From there, the guy started making small talk. At first Apollo tried to seem uninterested, but as they bounced from topic to topic, he couldn't help becoming more invested. He started laughing with Justin, and once he was really starting to get involved his eyes couldn't stop running over what he could see of Justin's body, making him wonder what he'd look like without those clothes. After all, he was clearly here to talk because Apollo was a hot girl in a sexy outfit, so there was definitely interest there. When he finally asked why Apollo was wearing that costume, and Apollo explained he was an assistant in a magic show, something about Justin's face shifted, making him look almost hungry. "Well, I might stop by and check out your show then." Then he leaned closer and whispered, "Unless you'd like to make me disappear right now. My apartment is a block away."
