"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck."

Nick drove the car through the night at 100 kmph. Anyone who saw that would say he's trying to commit suicide. Maybe deep down, he wanted that, but he wasn't trying. For two reasons: First, he had superhuman reflexes, which allowed him to drive safely at that speed, and second, he couldn't die. If his body was destroyed, he simply went back to his not-so-sweet home, and he didn't want to try that either.

Ncik never ever set foot in Heaven, but in his opinion, the real Heaven is on Earth. The weather is not too hot or too cold, tons of delicious food, and beauties everywhere. He couldn't understand how being banished from Eden was supposed to be a punishment.

He wanted to save the world, but was unwilling to sacrifice his eternity for that.

When he arrived at his penthouse, a woman welcomed him and handed him an envelope: "This is for you."

The woman's name was Lily. Well, she wasn't actually a woman, but a succubus. Like Nick was an incubus. They were a pair for the last 3000 years.

Legends said that succubi appeared in sleeping young men's dreams to seduce them, took their sperms to give to incubi so that the latter could **** women and impregnate them with the seed they were given. People believed that children so begotten—cambions—were supposed to be evil criminals.

Everything was true except the last part. According to Nick's observation, most children born from his "work" were fairly normal. Yes, they did commit some sins, but because they were 100% human biologically. Humans could actually come up with crimes so evil that not even demons could think of.

Nick opened the envelope with a worrying expression. Seeing his face, Lily asked: "What's wrong? Did they summon us back to Hell?"

He shook his head. There is no need to get her involved in this. The less she knows, the safer she is.

The paper had no words. It's the drawing of a shrub with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and purple flowers.

Nick raised his eyebrows. He thought that "in a mysterious way" should be the specialty of The Other Side, not them. But he didn't mind it now. He really wished he had never understood this instruction.

At the same time, across the ocean.

A nun was kneeling in front of a figure sitting on a throne.

"Your Holiness, please give me the order."

"Sister Mary, you are the strongest exorcist of this era. Yesterday, we received a revelation from Heaven. The Apocalypse is coming. The father of the Anti-Christ has come to Earth. Find him!"

Then she stood up, turned back, and walked away.
