Answer the door.

"I wonder who's here," you ponder. "Well, we might as well get--"

"Not it."

"Not it."

"Not it."

All three of them reply so quickly that you can hardly tell who said it first. "Are you kidding me?"

"Sorry, Kyle. You need to do it. That's the rules," Niki says. The others nod.

You grunt and stand up, moving Eva's legs off your lap. She immediately wiggles over to your spot like a worm, and snuggles into a ball. Meanwhile, you walk down the hall and towards the front door. After a stretch of your back, you peek your eye through the peephole and spot Rabbit's Foot, completely suited up in her not so modest emerald spandex.

You open the door and let her in. "What's up, RF?"

She steps quickly inside. "I'm glad I spotted you. I came the other day but you weren't here."

"Yeah. We just finished a big adventure. The rest are in the living room," you say with a gesture of your thumb. "I think you've only met one of my party members so far. Just so you know... they're all just as weird. Please don't judge me on their behalf."

"I'm sure they're great!"

You lead her back to the living room. Immediately, Eva bounces up from her seat. Her eyes widen. "Oh my gods!"

Niki and Amara look up. They look surprised as well.

Though Eva scurries over like an over-excited fangirl. "It's really you. It's Rabbit's Foot. You look just as cool up close!" She breaths heavily. "M-My name is Eva. I'm a big fan. You're really an inspiration for bunnyfolk everywhere."

RF laughs. "Don't be nervous, citizen!" She pats Eva on the head and continues. "So, I'm trusting this party with my secret identity. This is something hardly anybody else knows, so please. Do not tell a single person."

Eva shakes her head. "I would never."

You look between them all. She was at the ball, you know. Not in-uniform, but still.

She dramatically removes the mask over her eyes. "I am Lalarin Relestel."

The girls gasp.

"After the help you provided me with at the ball, I was able to procure a specific item in my mother's possession. It has led be to the horrific truth, that she is in league with my enemies. I hate to do this, but I have nobody to turn to. I'm in way over my head this time. When the time comes, I'd love if you could aid me once again. You remember Faceless, right, Kyle?"

You nod.

She sighs. "Well, it's who he works for as well. I have no idea who's on top... but they're making moves in the shadows. My mother was speaking to a devil that went by Flame General Ithic, and they mentioned something about vampires as well. This goes far too deep for me to handle alone."

"We ran into that exact devil you mentioned on the way back. Some vampires too. Could that all be related?"

She looks shocked. "You're serious? That can't be a coincidence. They must be on the move. Where was this?"

"South east. We were heading to an unmapped dungeon."

"What could they be doing so close to the city?" she asks beneath her breath.

You look to your party, and then back to her. "I don't want the world to be destroyed or anything, but we could barely scratch the guy. If they're connected to that Vampire Queen too, and that Faceless guy, and somebody is even above them, I think this goes beyond us too."

Eva gulps. "W-We can totally help you, Rabbit's Foot, the great super heroine."

"You could barely get that out, Eva... Why don't you ask someone like Nyllia?"

Amara gasps quietly.

You quickly correct yourself. "Lady Tesgella. Or other heroes. I'm sure there's people even higher level than her that would be the exact kind of people to contact in situations like this. You know, your big, high level saviours of the land."

RF nods. "I agree. I only wish you to keep your eyes open, and be on my side. I need to feel like I have local allies here in Avana."

"We'll do our best, but I'm not so careless where I'm going to charge head-first into fighting these guys." You look to Niki.

"What?" Niki asks. "Why are you looking over here?"

"There's something else," RF says. "You see, I found somebody the other day. They were injured, so I nursed them back to health, and they may be the perfect key to help us in this fight. They're also rather eager to meet you."
