Chapter 2 by Jeriah Jeriah

Her punishment...

Another side of heaven

My fear of heights must've made me pass out as I could feel the ground dissappear beneath my feet, but I couldn't have been gone for more than a few seconds before I came too again.

Lifting my head I was quite surprised to find me still surrounded by fluffy white clouds and with the open blue sky over head. I didn't know what to expect, but if I really had to be punished for my sins, surely I'd have ended up in a place much more... hot and gloomy...?

"Ah, forgive me young lady!" I heard the gate keeper's voice just behind me, and as I looked up into his kind face again I found him reaching down to help me back on my feet.

"What happened?" I wondered, looking around while letting him help me up. The gate to heaven was nowhere to be found and I know I had felt myself falling, so I could only guess that I'd ended up a few floors below... ahem, clouds...

"I didn't mean to scare you!" He apologized with another gentle smile, still holding on to my hand as if unsure if I'd be able to stand by myself. "Are you okay?"

"Well, yeah..." I replied, still looking around but finding nothing but soft and shimmering white clouds surrounding us. "I'm just... Where are we...? This can't be... hell, is it?"

"No! No of course not!" He laughed, then looked me over again while pulling himself back together. "Well... That's where you should've been going I suppose, with those dire records of yours!"

"So, what am I doing here then...?" I kept trying to ask of him, worried and becoming just a little bit tired with his slow way to get to the point. Was it just a last wave goodbye before he sent me on my way, or did he know of some way for me to make ammends for my sins?

"Well..." He started and for the first time managed to look just a little bit embarrassed with himself as he cautiously continued. "In fact, there is a certain... let's say 'use', for a woman like yourself up here in heaven... We're not supposed to talk loudly about it of course, but some people that are sent to heaven, and really deserve their place up here, sometimes has a certain view on how things should be up here..."

"Uh... So, how do you mean...?" I wondered, still not sure what he was getting at, but slowly starting to get an idea of it. "Would you give me a chance to stay...?"

"Well, kind of..." He shrugged uncomfortably, not quite meeting my eyes but instead seeming to have his eyes roaming the area around my chest. Now that was something I was far more at home with, and I could hardly keep from smiling as this saint-like old man tried to express himself while at the same time having a hard time not to oogle my tits. "You see... The thing is..."

"The thing is..." I filled in for him, as I thought I was starting to understand where he was going. "There's a certain need up here for a certain type of beautiful young women, preferably with a 'certain degree of experience' from the mundande world? Problem is; These specific young women with the right sort of qualifications also tend to end up in the bad end of your records?"

"Well, yeah... Very clever of you, young lady...!" He commended me, giving me another embarrassed smile as he dared meet my eyes again. "It seems that... the one below is getting all the talented ones for himself, you know..."

"Yeah, of course...!" I can't help but let out another little chuckle as I find proof that heaven, and probably hell as well, ain't that different from the normal world after all. All beings seem to be sharing the very same sorts of needs, even after they've died. "So... I get to stay up here? As long as I keep to fullfilling my new role...?"

"Well... They can't really throw you out, once that you've made it inside...!" He said with another uncertain smile and a shrugg of his shoulders. "Though I guess you'd be expected to... perform to the best of your abilities...?"

"Yes, I guess so...!" I smile back at him, this time glancing him over in return while considering my options. "And... perhaps the sooner I start, the better I'll be recieved...?"

So what's my choice? Just skip this heaven-thing all together and think I'll be just as well recieved wherever I was supposed to be going? Keep talking my way past this kind old man and get a good look at what's behind his gate? Or just get down to business right away, making sure that he'll speak more than well about me in my heavenly new home?

What's my choice?
