Another shock

Jack is still pressed against Catherine’s door, pleading to just be handed his clothes. Catherine’s laughter fills the house, and her insistence on dressing Jack herself makes the moment unbearable for him. Suddenly, a familiar voice is heard from the hallway:

“Hi Mom! What’s going on?” It’s Isabella, Jack’s sister-in-law.

Jack tightly closes his eyes. “Oh no!” he whispers, his voice full of despair. This is the worst possible turn of events.

Seeing Isabella, Catherine’s smile grows wider. Now that she has another audience for her little show, she excitedly turns to Isabella and, with a playful and cheerful tone, explains:

“Hi Isabella! Jack ran naked into my room, and I want to help him get dressed, but he won’t let me!”

Isabella looks a bit confused at first, but when she realizes the situation and glances at her mother’s closed door and then at Catherine, who is laughing uncontrollably, she bursts out laughing too.

Their laughter blends and fills the entire house. Jack hears their laughter, which only deepens his embarrassing and comical predicament. He knows this story will be the talk of their family gatherings for a long time.

Now Jack must face two women from his family who are thoroughly enjoying his funny situation. How will he get out of this mess?
