Another puzzle.

Two weeks had passed and Judge Fiso was still missing.There had been no ransom no witnesses coming forward. In fact the development had been the judge's car had been found at the airport. And now another disappearance dropped on her desk and it was a ADA Harriet Garmon. She had last been seen two weeks ago whens he had left her office for a skiing trip up in the mountains.

Sam looked through the footage from the DA's office and saw that she had left unmolested so that was a dead end. Harriet's secretary had told her that Ms Garmon always stayed at the Heraton hotel before her long drive to the mountains. Sam took her gun and badge and headed to the Heraton hotel and spoke with the staff who remembered Harriet checking in and checking out the next morning.

She knew that checking the room would be useless as to much time had passed but even so she would call out the CSI guys just in case. She looked at the cctv footage and indeed saw Harriet check in and then just static for two hours before the picture came back. She asked why there was just static and the security chief told her that the system had crashed for two hours. Sam noted that Harriet appeared the next morning and checked out then left the hotel.

Sam next checked the city CCTV and followed Harriet's route on camera until she lost her just as she hit the freeway. Sam put out a bolo with the details of Harriet and her car. All she could do was head back to her office and wait in forensics but something had occurred to her and that was that in both disappearances camera's had malfunctioned. Was there a connection thought Sam, She would have to dig deeper.
