Chapter 49 by LustThePoet LustThePoet

What's next?

Another family dinner

I take a quick shower before returning to work for a few hours. The nootropic accelerates my mind, allowing me to work through complex software problems while pondering the events of the morning. Esmere was her usual self, flirtations and cheery, but that woman... Felicity. Something isn't right, I know. There isn't anything I can do about it for the moment, though, I think. Instead of worrying about it, I focus on my work and push it further toward completion.

My focus is only broken by the soft tapping of fingernails against my open door. "Dom?" I hear my mother ask, hesitantly. I hear her held breath and the flutter of her heart.

I turn away from my computer and see her standing there, in the doorway, with one hand outstretched against the white wood. She wears a yellow sundress with tiny cactuses on it, and the halter-top of the dress presses against her breasts and holds them high against her chest. Her makeup and hair are done to perfection, with the latter bound in a high and ornate knot.

"Mom? You look stunning," I say, taken aback. "What are you dressed up for?"

A blush grows on her cheeks as her fingers slide down the door and fall to her thigh. "Well, you, of course," she murmurs, averting her eyes. "Dinner is ready if you're hungry. The girls are already downstairs."

"Come here," I command, surprising myself. Mom blushes even more as she seemingly drifts over to me, her feet light on the floor. She stops a few feet away, still averting her gaze. "Closer," I press, and her blush grows. She shuffles closer to me, one step at a time, until she stands between my knees, her own pressing against me.

"Yes, dear?" she asks, looking down at me.

I look up at the beautiful woman and smile. "Are you alright? You look so stunning. But you seem unsure of something. Is it us? What happened last night?"

Mom exhales and cocks one hip out, pursing her lips. "I... are you okay with it, still?"

"Am I okay with it?" I ask, amused. "Is there any doubt in your mind of that?"

"Well, I thought maybe you would change your mind--" she starts, but her words are cut off as I slide my hand up her inner thigh. "Oh," she murmurs, biting her lip.

"I will never change my mind," I say, sliding a finger further up and into her soaking cunt with a soft squelch. "No panties? I like it."

"Dom," Mom purrs, rising onto the tips of her toes as the pleasurable sensations course through her.

The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs alerts me to someone approaching, but I know that they can see nothing from behind due to Mom's dress. My nootropic brain recognizes an opportunity, so I continue to gently finger my mother. Not enough to cause her to moan, but enough to tease her.

"Hey, are you two coming?" Ashley asks, standing in the doorway. I look around Mom's hip and see my older sister wearing an oversized grey sweatshirt that hangs on her like a dress. Her dark curls are tied back in a messy bun.

At that moment, I slide my finger out of my mother's soaking pussy and smile at my sister. "Yes, we're coming. Just had to talk to Mom about something. We'll be there in a second."

Ashley nods and disappears back downstairs, while Mom leans against my desk and sighs. "Dom, what are you doing to me?" she mutters, smiling.

Grinning, I run my hand down her back and pinch her firm ass. "Whatever I want," I answer, and she blushes even more. The exaggerated movement of her throat as she slowly gulps and the raising of every hair follicle on her arms tell me that I gave her the perfect answer.

"I... come see me later?" she asks, biting her lip.

"I have to work after dinner, but I'll see what I can do," I say, smiling. Then, with one final pat on her rear, I point to the door. "Now, how about some dinner? Food is getting cold."

Mom rolls her eyes and leads the way downstairs, where we find Kelly and Ashley already sitting at the dinner table, plates already made. Kelly and Ashley sit on one side, so Mom and I sit down across from them. Kelly wears a pink graphic t-shirt and a pair of denim shorts.

I look down at the plate and savor the smell of grilled chicken and roasted vegetables. "Very healthy," I say, as I take a bite. Delicious.

"Well, you all work so hard. You need healthy food to power those brains," Mom says.

"We appreciate it, Mom," Ashley says. "Thank you for supporting us."

Mom waves her off. "We all know you three support me these days."

"That's what families do," I say. "Love and support each other. We're greater than the sum of our parts. Together, we can be more than we ever could be alone."

Kelly rolls her eyes while Ashley grins. Mom dabs at her eyes. "I am so glad you three are getting along now. I never thought I would see us four sitting down like this. And in only a few weeks, too. It is truly wonderful."

"Well, Dom getting his shit together certainly helped," Ashley says, grinning. She strokes my shin under the table with her foot and winks at me.

"Truth!" Kelly interjects, grinning. "It's nice having a guardian around now. Like, protector. Not like... legal guardian." Kelly suddenly blushes and looks away, while Ashley arches an eyebrow at her sister.

"Uh, right," Ashley murmurs. "Mom, this chicken is kickass. Thanks again for cooking."

"I think we should play a game!" Kelly interjects, her sudden shyness replaced by sudden youthful energy. "Let's each name something we're thankful for today."

"Well, that sounds nice," Mom answers. Ashley shrugs and nods her head in agreement.

"Okay. Dom, you go first," Kelly says, looking at me.

"Wait, what? I didn't even agree!"

The girls give me a pointed look and I sigh. "Fine. Let me think... I am thankful for my family. You three, and Aunt Esmere and Colette. I've realized that family is more important than anything. And that's why I am doing everything I can to support and love each of you."

"Aww," Kelly murmurs, blushing. "Mom, you next."

"Can I take Dom's?" Ashley nods her head No, and Mom sighs. "Alright. In that case... I am thankful for my youth, and recent reminders of it. I thought for so long that I was just an old woman, but lately, I have felt much better about myself. I have energy again. I am happy when I look in the mirror. And I am very thankful for each of your parts in that."

"I didn't know you felt that way before," Kelly says. "You're a knockout, Mom. You should be out having fun, not worrying about us! We're old enough to take care of ourselves, now."

"I know, dear. But I like to help you each, as I can. Ashley?"

"I...I am thankful to no longer be at my old job. It was necessary for a while, but thanks to Dom, I don't have to live like that anymore. The work we're doing together is already supporting this family and I know it will only get better."

Kelly smirks and looks at me. "Well, seems you getting your life together has been pretty good for all of us, Dom."

"Yeah, tell me about it," I answer, amused at their answers.
