After he showed up to Sylvia's house, Daniel quickly forgot about his wet bed, having fun hanging out with Sylvia and her boyfriend Charlie, as well as their roommate Nick. Daniel would never admit it, but he had quite a crush on Nick.
The first hour or so of hanging out with his friends went well. At some point, though, with no warning, he felt warmth start to spread down his legs. He looked down, gasping and shoving his hands between his legs when he realized what happened. But no matter what, he didn't seem to be able to stop, helplessly wetting himself in front of his peers.
"Oh, Danny, sweetie, you had an accident," Sylvia said, like it wasn't obvious. Like most people, she was a few inches taller than Daniel, but right now it felt like she towered over him.
"I-Im sorry, I really am, I don't know what happened." Daniel wanted to cry, but then he'd look like even more of a baby.
"It's okay." Sylvia gave him a matronly kiss on the forehead. "Just stay right here, I'll go get something else for you to wear."
Daniel didn't look at either of the boys as she left the room, wishing the ground would swallow him whole.
