Goma blinks at the suggestion to give her the heal, "Goma... Never use magic before..." she says nervously.

"I can tell you, that all sentient beings are capable of learning and using magic via the towers methods and neither Goma or Cherchiel have any specific issues that would hinder their ability to use magic," Dahlia helpfully informs everyone. Yulia looks thoughtful and then hands the book to Goma and Goma seems hesitant, but opens it after a bit and stands there for a moment as she absorbs the magical training.

"Huh... so that's what it looks like from the outside," Yulia mutters as she watches Goma and then Goma blinks.

"Wow..." she says quietly, teetering slightly and then she smiles, "Goma know magic... Heal friends!" she says excitedly.

"Glad to hear it!" Yulia says and then quickly ushers the group away from Dahlia and back towards Goma's workstation. Dahlia waves to them as they leave.

Back at the workstation Yulia asks Goma to make her an "explodey Ball" and also gives her the vial of unknown liquid, "also can you identify this for us?" she asks. Goma takes the ingredients and the vial and begins to work. After a short time she produces a grenade and gives it to Yulia and then hands over the vial.

"Juice stuff is fun time juice, very powerful fun time juice. Does thing... big word..." Goma looks thoughtful seemingly trying to remember something, "air Oh Soul eyes!" she says carefully, "glass break, fill area with fun time gas," she clarifies.

Yulia seems to be thinking, "that vial was attached to a trip wire and was hanging over the door to the floor boss, what a... devious trap," she says and then tilts her head, "though I guess I'm lucky. Even if I had triggered it, there's a high chance my mask would have filtered the effect, but I can't imagine any poor chosen who triggers that trap on the very first floor of this tower and doesn't have any way to protect themselves from it's effects..." she shakes her head, apparently in an attempt to clear it.

"If our next plan is a rest, we should probably head back to the rest area since we don't want to sleep in the caves and I'm sure Alide isn't allowed to let us rest in her store normally. I'll be on watch first, then Goma if I start to fall asleep?" Cherchiel suggests and Yulia and Goma both nod. The three begin to walk back towards the rest area, as they reach it, Cherchiel and Yulia pause, looking at the flower and the small disturbed patch of dirt near it. They both quickly turn away from it as Yulia lays down to sleep. As Yulia sleeps Cherchiel hands the runed dagger to Goma, "I don't know what your preferred method of fighting is, but here you go," she says.

Goma takes it and then lies down falling asleep as well. Cherchiel remains up, acting as watch, after a few hours she wakes up Goma to take watch and Cherchiel gets some rest. Eventually, however, Yulia reawakens fully refreshed and sits with Goma handing her the hunting horn as well and letting Cherchiel rest a bit more before waking her. With all three refreshed and ready and as prepared as can be, it's time to go hunting for Lumberer.
