Another Check-up

Janice went to Zinthrop's building for her second check-up. She arrived and walked inside, ringing the bell on the reception desk. Zinthrop soon walked through the door to the lab.

'Ms. Starlin.' Zinthrop greeted, a hint of surprise in his voice.

'Hello doctor.' Janice responded, with a wide smile, 'Do I look different?'

'Wow. Ah, yes.' Zinthrop said surprised, 'Please, please, come in, take a seat.' He led her through the lab door and gestured to the stool from the previous day. She sat on it, still smiling at his reaction, she loved being beautiful again. Zinthrop once again stood in front of her and started looking at her face, gently rubbing and pulling on her face to examined her skin.

'This is impressive.' Zinthrop stated, clear shock and surprise in his voice, 'Based on your progress yesterday, I would not have expected such drastic changes.' Janice turned to look at him.

'It's amazing right?' Janice asked, 'So, when could we start selling it?'

'Well, I may have developed a way to turn my serum into a pill,' Zinthrop replied hesitantly, 'But, given how fast these changes were, I would like to still observe you for a few more days. Make sure that there are no unexpected side-effects from these changes.'

'I understand, thank you doctor.' Janice said, her smile disappearing a little. She didn't want to have to wait. This discovery was incredible and the sooner it could be on store shelves, the sooner she would no longer need Mr. Talbot's investment. But, he was the doctor behind it, and she would not be able to make it happen any faster without him, so for now it was best to just wait, 'See you again tomorrow.'

'See you then.' Zinthrop said shaking Janice's hand before she left. She didn't know, but as soon as she turned her back towards him, his face became far more serious, as he looked over at his fridge containing the serums.
