Chapter 6 by frogogre1 frogogre1

How is Viktor going about the day?

Annoyed

Viktor went about his day trying to always be the best no matter what he did, making sure everything was fine and everyone who saw him in whatever current role he had taken saw him as the best. That had changed when that bitch Riri Williams came on to the scene, or as the public knew her better iron heart.

Her presence on his campus caused his dual roles as criminal mastermind that supplied and planned most of the profitable heist in the city and his role as the campus happy camper that was always willing to help to clash. This was unacceptable to him as being the best was the only option.

Sadly, he couldn't be the best at either role if those who knew him for one found out about the other. Which would happen as the superhero iron heart began to try and stop his heist and would eventually, at some point, proably by some happenstance, find something linking his two roles, ruining everything for him.

So Viktor had decided to quickly go after Riri, approaching her using his happy, helpful college campus persona to get close and make sure she never found any evidence that linked his two identities. He was going to do this by using a power that he had inherited from his father.

Now we'll Viktor hadn't inherited a full-on metal organic armored suit from his father. He did have the ability to create electricity in his skin like his dad did. His father usually used that ability to throw lighting at the fantastic four to varying degrees of success. Well, Viktor couldn't throw lighting because of his lack of metal armor for his electricity to travel through. Though he could use it in another way by letting an electrical charge flow through his skin and touching people he could create impulses in other people when he touched them.

These impulses would create subconscious thoughts that would not be anything major, as he couldn't rewrite people, but he could make them do certain things with the ability. Such as don't look at that or forget this after you do that. So using this ability, he was going to put into Riri the subconscious impulse to not notice any evidence linking his two identities.

Though as Viktor made his way through her dorm, wishing everyone he passed good morning with a charming smile, he knew he was going to hate dealing with her. She already had a reputation for being an arrogant bitch, and she hadn't even been around the campus there that long. Which was rather impressive as M.I.T was well known for its stuck up bitches.

Though granted, Riri was a genius even by their high standards who had made her own iron suit, so she did have something to back it up. But sadly she was black, and ever since Wakanda made it public that they were an advanced nation for blacks only. Well, all of a sudden there was a growing black superiority complex running around college campuses as they began talking about the true genius of black people and how they were being held back by the white man.

Though Viktor didn't really see what the hell they were on about. Especially considering that Wakanda was only advanced because of a rare advanced ore called vibranium that they were hoarding. So no one knew what you could really do with it since no one else had access to it.

So yeah, it's really easy to become an advanced nation on the back of one rare mineral when you're the only one that has access to it. In fact, Viktor had on occasion wondered how many discoveries went unmade because Wakanda hoarded the stuff. Though the dumb black supremacist rarely thought about the clear logical holes in using Wakanda as evidence for their superiority theories.

Viktor shakes his head quickly, clearing his mind of those thoughts less his annoyance at the stupidity show on his face. He began to gently knock on Riri's door and waited for her to answer his knock. "Who the hell is it?!" Riri loudly shouted in her usual bold, arrogant tone as she stared into the blue eyed blond haired, white viking, standing besides her door.

"Sorry to bother you, I'm Viktor, the campus president. Just coming around to introduce myself to everyone I hadn't met quiet yet and see if anyone needed help with anything on campus. So Riri, do you need help with anything?" Viktor asked in a smooth and gentle voice with his most award-winning smile.

Riri just stared at him a moment before answering. "No, I'm good. I don't need any help from anyone, especially no white boy." Riri said with a little heat in her voice. Viktor merely nodded, taking her hostility and racial slurs in stride. As her raciest attitude wasn't surprising considering her arrogant and bitchy reputation.

"Well then, I'm glad to have introduced myself at the very least." Viktor said with his still kind smile as he held his hand out to shake hers, making sure to stay in the doorway so Riri couldn't slam the door on him. Riri took the hint and shook his hand before they both backed away, and Viktor wished her a happy day as he walked away.

What Viktor didn't notice was Riri staring at his back as he walked down the hall. Her eyes on him the whole time he walked down the hall, only going back into her room when she couldn't see Viktor anymore after he turned into another hallway out of her line of sight.

Viktor walked through the school campus, making his way back to his college dorm room, happy in the knowledge he'd done what he needed too. The impulse was implanted into Riri. If she found any evidence linking his two identities, she wouldn't be able to recognize it for what it truly was as her subconscious would prevent her from making the proper connections. So from now on, he was safe from her and her iron heart identy.

Was he safe from Riri Williams?
