Anko has a decent idea!

"Hmm, well, Master, Hinata, might I make a suggestion?" Anko added her own two ryo.

Hinata looked at Anko curiously, and Naruto's copy also gave her a glance. "Sure, go ahead," Naruto's copy nodded. "What did you have in mind?"

"Well, I always personally found it incredibly stupid that the Hyuga clan has a weakness to long range combat," Anko noted, digging in her ear with her pinkie. "After all, they can see long distances, and also through solid objects... why focus solely on a close range style with an advantage like that?"

"...yeah, come to think of it, that is odd," Naruto nodded as Hinata looked contemplative. "Neji almost got killed by that spider guy a while back due to him fighting Neji from a distance, so even though Neji could see where he was, he couldn't do anything without getting close..."

"Exactly! If he had some degree of training from non clan techniques, he would have had more options than before! Hell, other clans aren't much better, they stick too much to their clan techniques too!" Anko sighed. "A little bit of branching out would do them a world of good."

"...the Hyuga clan does have Air Palm for ranged combat..." Hyuga meekly told Anko, not even sure why she was defending her clan at this point. Anko snorted derisively.

"Yeah, but it's only taught to Main Branch Members, right? And it's advanced," she pointed out. "And it's more mid range than long range. Seriously, your style only takes advantage of one aspect of the Byakugan, and ignores other facets! Do you know how easily members of your clan could snipe enemies if they did something as simple as taking up a bow? Let alone taking up some long range ninjutsu..."

"...I mean... Good point..." Hinata conceded. Naruto sniggered.

"Okay, so, brainstorming some long range options for you is on the agenda then?" he asked Hinata, who nodded, having to agree. "Of course, I should probably learn a few techniques like that too..."

"Oh, I know where to get something that should help with that!" Anko cheered, and immediately dashed out, grabbing her clothes on the way before Naruto could stop her.

"...what is she up to?" Naruto asked Hinata, who shrugged. Knowing Anko, she could be up to just about anything.
