Ankha's gilded cage

Ankha was having a relaxing and pleasant day like she usually did. Most animals were going through horrible abuse, suffering and fear as all their homes were taken over or destroyed, and their freedoms were taken away. Ankha had her freedom taken too, and now she was made to live in a single room, but the thing about that is that she didn't care because it was a beutiful room where she got everything she could ever want or need, she had a beutiful sand-colored with white curtains decorating it, it had golden paint coloring the walls and ceiling and the floor had a comfy red colored carper.

She had her own bathroom, with a toilet a sink with a spotless mirror that she used every day to do her make up and groom her hair, she also had her own bathtup of course that she was using at that moment, other cats didn't liked water but she loved to relax on a nice warm bath.

She was aware of how much other animals were suffering out there, most didn't had the luck of being bought by a loving and rich owner that never mistreats her and loves her dearly, but she didn't cared, she was a selfish and indifferent girl, as long as she got what she wanted she didn't cared what happened to the rest.

Her master was more than her owner, he was her lover, he came often to make sweet love to her, and since he was a muscular and handsome hunk she didn't mind, she was totally into it, she felt it as an honor to be the lover of such a handsome, important, rich and respected human, she was as privilaged as an animal could hope to be in the new world order, just don't call her a pet, even though that's factually correct, she hates to be called that, she insists she's master's girlfriend and someday will be his wife.

As she felt she was clean enough she came off from the bathtup drying herself up with a towel and as she did she heard a ring on her door announcing the arrival of somebody.
