Angel

I shake my head, if there are demons then their words couldn't be trusted, "I choose the Angels." I say firmly as the Valkyrie suddenly dashes in front of me holding a large ornate blue-gold shield. I hear a loud clang as the shield takes a surprise blow that probably would have killed me.

"I am proud of you young one, you made the right choice." The Valkyrie responds as a bright light envelops her other hand, from the light a longsword appears in her hand. She looks above as she slowly circles around me, every few seconds we could hear a rush of wind, I could only assume the Demon was waiting for an opportunity to catch us off guard.

Suddenly we barely see a black blur as the Valkyrie stumbles a bit the impact to her shield knocking her off balance for a brief moment. "I can't fight effectively like this..." The Valkyrie mutters under her breath.

We hear a soft giggle that seems to echo all around us, "Of course not Angel... trying to protect a human leaves you;" The demon suddenly appears between us, "****!" She has her arm back her nails extended into long almost steel like claws.
