Chapter 13 by Primal356 Primal356

What's next?

And the escape!

The sessions went on for weeks. Perhaps months. You didn't break. But your captors didn't want to give up either. _It was a tie. _In the end what broke it was the missing click that you expected once your torment for the day was over and your straitjacket was placed back.

How in the Stars your trainer didn't know that an adenian could get out of an unsecured straitjacket if the said adenian has an entire second, you had no idea. But by the end of the next second your trainer was dead, his neck broken on the ground by a single movement of your foot.

After that it was hell let loose. But it was the hell that you were engineered for.

At first you didn't have a weapon. But you didn't need to have one either. The guards in front of the door had plasma guns. Sure. But they only had a half second to realize that you were free and dangerous.

After that it was just gunshots. Ricocheting off of your bulletproof skin like nothing. As time went on your mind stopped paying attention. It was automatic. Sometimes your eyes registered a plasma gun again. But it was handled one quarter of a second later. How the hell did these puny beings get you out of Sol in the first place when your kind rebelled, your mind couldn't fathom.

Of course it was the self destruction. Your mind recalls the fact after perhaps two dozen kills. Maybe four. Every ship. Every station. Every part of Ceres. Cities even. In the end your kind realized it is either flee or die, and they chose the former. You have to choose the former as well.

Kacey didn't want to escape. You found her and she shook her head. In this way she made her choice. The next surprise was Randy, locked in a cell and helpless. You thought they killed him. You decided to let him out. Then you just dragged him after you, as bullet after bullet ricocheted off of your skin.

Then finally you were at the hangar. At this point folks didn't dare to stop you. They simply fled. And thus you were away, your new vessel entering FTL only after a few shots evaded.

You thought about killing the rich guy. But why? In the end you were just a commodity. And the whole thing was a transaction.

Now that you were free, there was only one thing that mattered to you. And one thing at all.

"Um... I thought you wanted kill me. But evidently you don't, so..." You can hear Mr. Garcia mutter once you entered the cargo hold. He was still there as you locked him in. It was either that or let him interfere.

But then he froze as he could see you descend on your knees, hands locked behind you, your gaze held at the tip of his shoes.

"Do as you wish of me, Master," you say, your mouth inevitably forming a smile.

"As you wish, my lady," Mr. Garcia says. And you could swear that he was smiling just the same.

THE END

Author's note: Sorry it took me this long to finish it. But I got carried away with other projects. Still it was fun the write the final chapter, and I hope that you enjoyed it :)
