But If you end up making child support payments, I will be pissed." Kaila smiled at me again. "I'm not surprised, honestly," She said after another moment's reflection. "I knew she was going to fuck you the minute you two got alone together. Didn't think she'd go that far, but again, not surprised. That girl can be a little crazy. One of the reasons I love her, honestly."

"I... I'm a little jealous of her," I admitted.

I swallowed heavily, trying to steel myself for whatever she had to say.

"I know you love your sister, but I'm worried that Imogene's trying to break the marriage" Kaila sighed. "I'm worried that if I ask you to choose between her and... you'll pick her, and I don't want to lose you."
