Ancient birthplace of the Sith

Your ship is approaching Korriban. It is a rocky and sandy wasteland planet. What makes it unique is its exceptionally strong connection to the dark side. The Ancient Sith have realized this and built their base of operation here. For many centuries, this planet served as the capital of multiple Sith empires. The darkness is felt, even in orbit. No wonder why the masters didn't want to risk coming here themselves, only those who were more familiar with the dark side.

You fly through a few duststorms as you are closing in on your destination, the Valley of the Dark Lords. It is a mere shadow of its former self, being torn by civil war during the final days of the last Sith empire and being abandoned ever since.

Lana (in awe): Unbelievable... I never thought I would see this place with my own eyes...

Ranvi: What's so big about this place? Seems like a bunch of rocks and sand to me. No life, that's for sure...

Lana: It is the resting place of the greatest of Sith lords, among which are Marka Ragnos, Ajunta Pal, Naga Sadow, etc. They were all great and terrifying leaders of the Sith many, many centuries ago. This place's history is almost as old as the Jedi order's. Truly fascinating...

Drek: Yeah, for history fans maybe. Let's just check out what we came for and go, this place gives me the creeps.

Lana: This is a sacred place, these tombs haven't been disturbed for countless generations, if we do any disrespect to these resting Sith lords, their spirits will avenge it! Or, so say the legend.

Drek (frightened): What, they are still alive?

Lana: Their spirits are said to haunt here, yes.

Drek: Okay, I like this place a lot less now...

Ranvi (sarcastically): What's a little bunch of immeasurably powerful dead sith spirits to us, huh? Maybe they will play trick or treat with us!

Drek: Ranvi, Lana has just said not to show them any disrespect! We, or most certainly, I don't want to anger them!

Lana (sneaking behind Drek): Boo!

Drek (crying out): Aaaaaahh!

Ranvi and Lana (both laughing): You should have seen your face!

Drek (angry): Not funny okay! We have no idea what's waiting for us here!

Valare: That's right, you don't...

Ranvi (looking at Valare): W-what...? W-who's that...?

Apparently, Valare became visible for others as well, not just for you. Her red skin combined with yellow eyes gives the appearance of a real Sith lord.

Drek (angry): Ha-ha, very funny, you can stop the **** projection Lana!

Lana (confused): What, I'm not... Do you mean you see her...?

Drek (walking up to Valare): Very creative, now, I'll show you I'm not scared and just simply walk through her!

Valare (**** pushing Drek back against a wall with a grim expression): I don't think so.

Ranvi: S-she's real...! By the ****...!

Lana (with facepalm): Oh boy, what have we gotten ourselves into...

Drek (confused and terrified): Okay, now I'm officially scared! T-this is a r-real S-sith s-spirit! We have angered one already! We are all going to die!

Valare (pointing at Drek and changing her tone to a deeper one): Kneel before my greatness and beg for thy meaningless life or perish, you feeble Jediling!

Lana (rolling her eyes): Seriously...?

Drek (kneeling): Please, please your greatness, I don't want to die! Spare me and my friends, we are only travellers! We meant no harm to you or your resting place!

Lana: Okay, the party's over, you should stop now!

Valare (laughing out loud): Hahaha, did you see his face!? It was hilarious! I hope the ship has a recorder because this was a once in a lifetime prank!

Ranvi (confused): Lana...? Do you know what's going on here...?

Drek (confused): Wait, she won't kill us, will she?

HK69 (pointing his rifle at Valare): Master Lana, I have detected an uninvited being on board, may I activate extermination protocols?

Lana: HK put that down, you would only fire holes into the ship!

HK69: A pity, it has been ages since I killed my last... Wait... By the programmer, Master Valare?! Is that really you?!

Valare: Hello HK, it's been a while!

HK69: Master, if you could only imagine the bolts running through my circuits due to seeing you again! My services as your personal **** droid were the most prized memory fragments I store in my memory core!

Valare: Thank you HK, but as I have heard, you found yourself a new master while I was gone.

HK69: Yes master, it's true, Master Lana is my master now. However, I think my vision sensors must be badly malfunctioning, since you perished so long ago, it's completely impossible for you to be standing here. Master Drek, I require your usually unwanted maintenance.

Valare: Your eyes don't deceive you HK, I truly am here.

HK69: In this case, I may admit that my processor has stopped looking for a logical explanation for this phenomenon since there obviously aren't any.

Drek and Ranvi: Lana...?

Lana: Okay guys look, I'll explain everything, listen carefully, because this is a long story...

You tell them how you have encountered Valare's spirit and how she keeps whispering to you from time to time. Now they know her spirit is bound to her, but currently your, saber and she can't wander off too far away unless her spirit will be shattered for good.

Ranvi: I see... Fascinating. I have heard of similar rituals in my clan, but have never actually seen anybody using one.

Drek: Hey Sith lady, it wasn't nice to scare me like that! I'm a great Jedi you know, you should watch who you are messing with!

HK69: Watch your tone Master Drek, if you were half the man Valare was in her prime, you would be sitting in the Jedi council by now!

Valare: Oh yeah, great Jedi, I have seen how "great" you are below your belt!

Drek: What...?

Lana: As I said, she's been around us, ever since our first mission to Dathomir, so yeah, she's seen a few things...

Ranvi: You mean even when we...?

Valare: In full HD.

Ranvi: Eeuuuh, Valare, you are such a pervert!

Valare: I would prefer lewd, but let's not argue about that now. You two were cute though, it's rare to have a real passion in love as you have!

Ranvi: I don't know if I should be flattered or disgusted by the fact, that you said this after having watched us having sex...

Lana: Anyway, why are they able to see you now?

Lana: Alright, we have landed, time to look for anything strange.

HK69: As much as I would love to extinguish life on the side of my former master, I'll guard the ship as usual Master Lana.

Lana: Thanks HK, we'll be back soon.

You all get down to the sandy surface of Korriban. Outside the ship, the dark tainting is more powerful. You hear an echoing voice coming from the distance.

Voice: Aah, visitors! We rarely get visitors... Come, let me show you the way...!

Ranvi: What was that?

Drek (scared): Okay, one of them is resurrected, let's go back to Coruscant and tell the council!

Valare: Nobody is resurrected here, you fool! Any spirit can talk like that, it takes little effort, I know that firsthand.

Lana: I think it came from that tomb, over here... Whose tomb is that? I don't remember this one from the books.

Valare: This tomb belongs to Darth Sextus. He was an ancient Sith lord who specialized in drawing his power from lust. He would have been a fun guy to meet in person!

Ranvi: Yeah, sounds like a fun guy...

Valare: Shall we be off? We have a tomb to explore!

Lana: Since when have you become our guide?

Valare: Ever since you set foot here! This is my homeworld, if you don't want to be lost in its darkness forever, you better follow me!

Drek: We have little choice now, don't we?

Lana: That's right, if there's a talking Sith spirit, he might be the one disturbed. That's our best lead yet.

Valare (clapping her hand): Marvelous! Into the tomb!
