An unexpected opportunity.

*Steele's P.O.V.*

It's been three months since Harley and I had our wonderfully impromptu first date. I have been wanting to take her out on another date, but we've been extremely busy with testing new batches. So much so that most of us haven't left WayneTech except to sleep.

That being said we are getting closer. Our last failure actually made it the longest so far. It lasted for almost two months before it failed.

Dr. Isley and Bruce Wayne fearing that we were pushing ourselves too hard. Both of them told all of us that they are requiring us to take the weekend off to relax and recharge. I figured that this would be the perfect opportunity to ask Harley out on a second date and maybe allow her to be the little chaotic firecracker that has stolen my heart.

"Hey Harley, are you doing anything tomorrow?".

"No, Doctah S. I can't say that I am. Why do you ask?".

"Well, I thought maybe you and I could go out and have some fun tomorrow.".

"Aww!! Doctah S. are you asking me out on a second date?".

"Why, Yes I think I am!!".

Before she can answer me I wink at her. That causes Harley to smile and blush at the same time. Even through all of that Harley answers me.

"Sure thing Doctah S., I would love to go out on a second date with you!! What did you have in mind for our second date. Dinner and a movie, or is it dinner and maybe hitting up a nightclub afterwards. What are we doing?".

"I'm not going to tell you, it's a surprise!!".

"Boo!! You're no fun Puddin!! Now how am I supposed to know what to wear for tomorrow?".

"Just wear something extremely comfortable and something that you don't mind getting a bit dirty!!".

With that being said I just smile and wink at her, once again making her blush and we quickly get back to work. Tomorrow can't get here soon enough!!

*A couple of hours later*

*Harley's P.O.V.*

I can't believe he did it!! That big oaf actually asked me out on a second date! I guess I really made a favorable impression on him. At least I hope I did. I would like to think I did with the way he is constantly smiling and winking at me everytime I look over at him, which keeps causing me to blush. Either that or he is getting his **** for me embarrassing him on our impromptu first date.

I hope Mistah S. really does care for me, because I would hate for all this to turn out to be for nothing. I don't think he is the type of man to play with a gurls heart like that, but you never know.

I really want to know what he is planning on us doing tomorrow. But, he just keeps telling me that I have wait until tomorrow to find out. Talk about being a party pooper!! Though, I can't lie, him not telling me makes me more excited to see what he has planned for our second date.

The only problem is now I have to figure out what to wear tomorrow that is both comfortable and I won't mind getting "dirty". I know what I'll wear tomorrow and I'm sure my big oaf won't mind a bit!! Hehe hehe!!

I'm so excited, tomorrow needs to hurry up and get here!!
