An unexpected delay...

The cheers of your fellow gladiators as they hold their shields and swords in the air combined with your anticipation of killing Silva is very exciting. But your euphoria is short lived... As your sponsor leads you to the exit the head trainer shouts, "SILENCE!!!!"

Both of you turn to face him as the gladiators cheers cease on his command.

Stepping forward the trainer says, "Bad news for you champion... our Lord Silva will be attending a dinner engagement tonight so you will not see him until tomorrow afternoon." Leaning over the Orcish girl he looks at her cut thigh and scoffs, "While the crowd enjoyed you sparing her life... I certainly didn't..." Staring at you with anger he says, "Next time I expect you leave that arena alone... or in a sack like the others... understood?"

You hardly care about future fights in the arena, but the idea of Silva being out of your reach another day angers you. Knowing conflict with the trainer will only draw attention to you, you simply nod and reply, "Understood... wont happen again..."

Smiling the trainer says, "Excellent... now you will be taken to you quarters. Normally you get to sleep alone as today's champion... but since there are two of I give you the option to share it.... of course that means you won't be receiving Silva's gift.."

Some of the gladiators snicker as he motions over to two exotic ladies. While their big breasts, tanned skin and beautiful hair and eyes make them tempting... you don't find their fearful looks appealing.

"I'll pass..." You reply trying to hid your anger with Silva.

"Very well... guards! Take him to his cell...." The trainer shouts as two big armored soldiers take your sword and lead you to your quarters. As you step inside the small windowless room you see a simple bed with straw and a bucket. While not glamorous it is much better than the large steel cages the common gladiators rest in.

Sitting on the bed as the cell door shuts you wait patiently for morning to come... but you are surprised as the cell door opens and the Orcish woman is led in. She winces and curses the attendants as she is laid down on the bed, clutching her bandaged thigh.

The cell door shuts and you look at her in the light, her armor stripped from her body. You see she is just wearing a loin cloth and a strip of fabric across her busty chest. You find her light green skin, long toned legs and stomach, big breasts, and braided dark hair very tempting... Her piercing blue eyes lock onto yours as she catches you looking at her body.

"What's your name...?" You ask with interest.

"Azul... from the Islands in the Western Marshes..." She says softly before continuing, "You know you should have killed me..."

"Oh...? Why should I have done that...? It would have been such a waste..." You respond with a smile.

Almost taken aback by your look of interest she says, "My mother was a Nordic woman, **** by an Orc in a raiding party...." Looking down with a bit of sadness she continues, "She cried when she found out she was pregnant... and I served as a constant reminder of that moment. I know she resented me for it... all the northerners did. Seems that humans find my Orcish blood revolting so I spent much of my time alone or fighting. I became a warrior... always have been even before pirates captured me on their raids on our fishing village..." Looking down at her thigh she sighs, "And I know I won't survive for long in the arena with this..."

"Did the pirates...?" You ask before she cuts you off.

"No... they tried... but I made them regret it. I am still a maiden, untouched by a man. The ruffians moved on to less spirited prey and they sold me to Silva's slavers so it seems I'm more valuable in the arena anyway."

"What's your name and what brings you here...?" She asks curiously, making you pause to think about what to say...
