Chapter 19 by Mastermind9890 Mastermind9890

What's next?

An unexpected ally

Elizabeth and Veronica were both total eye candy, and I couldn't help but wish Elizabeth wasn't sitting in the back seat, limiting my view of her. This would be a very enjoyable ride, if only the car wasn't so quiet. As soon as I sat down, Veronica had turned on the radio and immediately begun driving in the direction of my house.

Looking to stir the pot a bit after the first few minutes, I turned down the radio and decided to bring up the earlier conversation. "So Elizabeth, didn't you want to ask something about Veronica's stealing habit?" I asked, glancing at Veronica to catch her reaction.

Veronica visibly cringed, clearly unhappy that I had broken the silence and reminded Elizabeth of their earlier conversation. Elizabeth, on the other hand, perked up. "Oh yeah! It totally slipped my mind," she said, turning her attention to Veronica. "V, you really need to stop that. Remember what happened last time with the handbag at Macy's?"

Veronica's discomfort was evident as Elizabeth continued to expose her secrets. "You promised you would stop after your dad had to come and sort it all out. Stealing is wrong, V. You could get into serious trouble!"

Whoa! That was some serious gossip. I wondered how many people at school knew about this. I listened intently, blatantly eavesdropping on their conversation. Veronica noticed me out of the side of her eye and her frown twitched. She clearly didn't want me to hear about this, but she also didn't do anything to stop me. If I had to guess, she was trying to ignore my existence completely. Typical Veronica.

As Elizabeth lectured on, she spilled details about Veronica's shoplifting episode and how her father had to bail her out. Veronica only gave some passive responses of acknowledgement. It was interesting to see this side of her and it painted a fuller picture of the situation, but I honestly didn't understand the girl.

When Elizabeth finished her spiel, Veronica gave a small sigh of defeat. Her response was hesitant, tinged with a mix of regret and confusion. "I really did mean to stop after the cops got involved last time," she said, her voice low. "But I have no idea how I ended up driving Marcus' car. That part was a complete accident..." It was a weak defense, but in a way, she wasn't entirely at fault. The power of the pen had allowed me to claim the car as mine, altering reality in a way she couldn't comprehend.

As she spoke, I found myself distracted by her appearance. Veronica's body, even in the driver's seat, was undeniably attractive. The way her clothes hugged her figure, the slight movements as she drove, it was hard not to appreciate her physical attributes. My mind began to wander, imagining the feel of her body, the curves under my hands, until her voice snapped me back to the present.

"...but isn't it enough that I'm driving that loser around?" Veronica was saying, a hint of bitterness in her voice.

Elizabeth, ever the moral compass, chided her. "Don't call him that, especially after how generous he's been. He could've pressed charges, then what?" Her words were firm, a reminder of the gravity of the situation. "Besides, driving him around is just payment for borrowing his car."

Veronica looked a mix of guilty and alluring, her usual confidence dampened by the realization of her precarious position. Elizabeth, sensing her friend's discomfort, pushed further. "You should find some way to apologize, V. It's the right thing to do."

That got my attention. Could I spin this in some way?

Elizabeth, despite not being the sharpest tool in the shed, was surprisingly insistent on Veronica making amends. "You've got to do more, V," she urged, her voice firm despite her usual airy demeanor. "Like, maybe invite him for dinner or something as a thank you?" she suggested, bouncing slightly in her seat with the enthusiasm of her idea.

I glanced at Elizabeth as she leaned forward, her movements causing her to shirt to fall lower allowing me to look directly down her blouse. From my angle, I got an eyeful of her she had to offer. It was moments like these that made Elizabeth so much more than just a 'dumb blonde.' She was unintentionally seductive, and in her naivety, she was proposing the perfect opportunity for me to extend my influence.

The idea of dinner intrigued me. It wasn't just about getting a free meal or spending more time with Veronica. It was the potential it held. If I went to her house, I could use the marker to claim ownership over more than just her car. I could, in theory, own her entire family's property. The thought sent a shiver of excitement down my spine.

Imagine, walking into their home, casually marking their most valuable possessions as mine. The TV, the computers, maybe even the house itself. It would be a power move like no other, a way to assert my dominance in a way that was both subtle and profound.

Veronica, meanwhile, seemed to be considering the idea, her usual defiance softening under Elizabeth's persistent nudging. "Maybe... I guess I could do that," she muttered, almost to herself. The look of resignation on her face was almost comical, a stark contrast to her usual self-assured posture.

Dinner, at her place. I could work with that.

I couldn't help but watch Veronica. Man, she looked amazing. The way her outfit just seemed to fit her perfectly, you could tell she had this innate beauty – like she didn't even have to try. It got me thinking, what about her family? If they were anything like her, then wow, that'd be something.

Then this wild idea hit me about using the pen on her family. Imagine if her mom was a stunner like Veronica? That would be epic. And sisters? That'd be like hitting the jackpot. I could almost see myself rocking up to their place, making everything mine, including them.

It was an exciting, kinda crazy thought.

As I sat there, listening to Elizabeth's suggestions and Veronica's **** agreement, I knew one thing for sure: this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Dinner at Veronica's was going to be more than just a meal. It was going to be a game-changer.

But could I push for more?

What's next?
