An old rival

Valerie recognized the man who had just grabbed her by the waist. They worked at the same organization, and they even had a history together. However, at the moment they were competing agents. While she didn't like his arrogant and smug attitude, she couldn't deny that he was good at his job, and not bad to look at either.

"Hawk", she said. "What a pleasant surprise to see you here."

He didn't immediately reply, instead continuing to walk with his arm around her waist. Valerie felt nervous. She couldn't help but notice that his fingers had crept up in between her dress and her skin. She **** herself to stay quiet. She wanted to know why he was here, and making a scene would only jeopardize her mission.

"My dear Valerie, the pleasure is all mine.", he grinned in his usual smug fashion. She hated that grin. "I have to say, you look absolutely stunning today." he winked at her.

"Why are you here, Hawk?", she replied suspiciously, suppressing the urge to shake herself free from his grip. His hand was caressing her waist. "You're never somewhere without a reason."

"Hey, relax. I know we have our...differences, but tonight we may be able to help each other." He adjusted his hand, now almost at the apex of her stomach, in a subtle motion.

Valerie let out a tiny gasp as she felt him grab her breast under her dress. She bit her lip as he played with her boob, pinching her nipple until it was erect. She looked around, wondering if anyone could see him copping a feel, but it didn't seem like it. The guests weren't staring, at least not yet.

"Be careful. He's dangerous, and we don't know what his goals are.", said Iris in her ear. She was right - she had to be careful. Still, for all his annoyances, Hawk was damn good. He could be a valuable ally. It would be worth it to at least listen to what he had to say.

She glared at him, her cheeks flushed. Mercifully, he finally withdrew his hand as he gestured towards a passage to the side. "I can explain. After you?"
