An explanation of Stats

Throughout the story, you may see differing stats being tracked, but primarily there are only three that will be present throughout.

Willpower: Fighting is said to be a measuring of wills more than anything, and this stat reflects that. Your willpower represents your ability to assert your will above others. In a fight, in order to win you will have to meet a certain threshold depending on the apparent strength of the individual you're up against. This will also manifest in other forms of confrontation, such as your ability to resist demands of others. Generally speaking, keeping it high ensures more options because you can always choose to succumb to another's will, but you can't choose to succeed against them without enough willpower. By training and fighting you will be able to gain some willpower, but look into I-No's influence to find the best way to increase Giovanna's will quickly.

Stoicism: Giovanna is what we in the industry call a tsundere. She puts on a badass façade, but deep down she does have feelings. With a high Stoicism, she will be able to keep up that mystique, but will find it hard to speak her mind. With a low stoicism, she'll be worse at blocking off her emotions and will have an easier time speaking her mind, however it also means she may feel the need to speak her feelings at inopportune moments as well. It's a balancing act based on your personal tastes.

I-No's Influence: I-No has sent Giovanna to this world to teach her a lesson. To stop, smell the roses, and enjoy life a little bit. By taking part in every day activities, her message imparts on you a little more. Things like going out for drinks, dancing, hell you could even take a cooking class. As you do these activities, you will gain in Willpower making it easier to overcome your opponents, but you will also gain in I-No's influence. Occasionally I-No will speak into your mind and make suggestions, often perverted in nature, if her influence over you is too high you will find it hard to say no to her suggestions.
