An escape plan

Both persons immediately looked into the direction and where quite shocked to see a short young woman wearing a speedo standing there!

"Klaus?" both said in unison.
"Yes, it really is me! The device made a midget out of me! And let me tell you, it sucks! Walter, what have you done?" the apparent speedo midget replied in the male voice of the police commissioner.

Over the next few minutes, Walter explained how he intended to fix the device. He considered it possible but assumed it might take a few weeks to get all necessary parts delivered.

Now, the far more urgent problem became apparent. That was, how to explain that an 'obese slob', the 'hot coworker' on her day off and a 'speedo girl' were residing in the office?

Just then, Martens had an idea. "Klaus, in your new shape you could crawl through the air ducts and then trigger the fire alarm. In the ensuing chaos we might just be able to make an escape!".

"Sounds good! But, uh, could you help me with something?" Klaus asked innocently.
