An awakening

The first thing Hunter realised when he woke was that he was no longer holding the girl. He raised his head and looked about blearily, finally seeing her sitting naked on the floor and holding a towel against her pussy. She was looking at him with a blend of emotion chasing each other across her face. Fear, confusion, anger and compassion all seemed to be fighting for control.

He raised his hand to rub the drowsiness out of his face, then stopped, suddenly very awake and alert.
