An assassin strikes - 3

The body presses into yours but it feels wrong, whoever it is is wearing armour, you stamp on their foot then jerk your head back and you feel a crunch as their nose is broken. As you turn you cast your shield spell first which is fortunate because arrows begin to ping off it and land in the area around you. Annie screams as some of her zombie fucktoys collapse looking like pincushions as her naked body is pierced by two arrows. Lying prone before you is Mia wearing leather armour with an Elven blade in her hand, she struggles to clear her head from your blow as you summon your cloak of shadows to hide in.

With the help of Annie and the two remaining zombies you drag Mia inside your highly flammable wooden shelter. Lynn casts darkness to obsurce the shelter but even that doesn't give you much time to prepare for battle, as you cast your spells you quickly realise that all your other zombies had been quietly dispatched and the two inside the tent are the only remaining ones. An unknown quantity of hidden assailants are firing arrows from the treeline and you have no idea who they are.

Lynn slaps Mia awake as you heal Annie while assessing your limited options, only Tri-Klops and Dave01rocks have any armour since everyone else's was left outside, there are only a few weapons but most of your party are spell casters. The whistle of flying arrows and the sound of dull thuds of impact seems to have stopped which you reason means your assailants must be afraid to hurt Mia and are moving to rush the tent in the dark.

When Mia wakes she doesn't panic but stares at you as she speaks "you don't need to **** me, I'm too pretty to be disfigured, I've seen what you can do and don't want that. I'll tell you what I can, there's no need to fight, we're both the same."
Annie kicks Mia hard in the ribs "tell those in the forest to surrender"
Mia winces in pain "they wouldn't surrender to you"
"Tell them to leave or you start getting sent to them in pieces" demands Lynn.
Mia quickly shakes her head "they won't surrender but they'll stop if I ask them."

Mia strips her armour and clothes at your insistence as you seek to reassert control of a **** situation. A zombie grips each of her arms as she exits the tent to tell your attackers to stop as you follow close behind, ready to summon your axe to disembowel her at a moment's notice.

Shaking from cold or fear Mia calls into the darkness in Elvish, she speaks quickly but you somehow understand her. She tells the figures in the darkness their trap has failed, you were too strong for her to defeat, that she has surrendered to you and that they must stop their attack. Peering into the darkness you struggle to see your attackers but your answer comes in a flurry of arrows which soar through the air and thud into Mia's naked body with the sound of meat being kneaded, her body jerks almost as if it were puppet on a string dancing before she collapses to the ground. You stare dumbfounded at your assassins dead body as her face transforms before your eyes to reveal more Elven features, your bemusement is interrupted by further arrows impacting against your shield spell, numb from the last few minutes events you retreat inside the relative safety of your shelter with the last two zombies.

Feeling lost for words at your utter failure and reversal of fortunes you can only stare at your companions as your impending doom approaches, arrows start to zip past you as they are fired into your shelter. Trapped like a rat in a cage you can only think of one further course of action.
