An apology from Lady Stark

Tyrion thought of his current predicament, how he had even arrived in this cell in the first place. All because Lady Stark had made a brainless assumption that he was somehow involved in the attempt on her sons life. Tyrion had tried to make her see the fallacy of her accusations but the woman was too stubborn. If only she could be made to see reason. He begun to write:

“Lady Catelyn Stark will see the error she has made, and free Tyrion Lannister from his cell as well as pardon him from her baseless charges.” He wrote, smirking to himself as he pictured Catelyn’s stern face being besmirched by embarrassment from what she had done. Then again, perhaps that would not be sufficient…

He added to the page:

“Catelyn Stark will then escort Tyrion to her private chambers and offer him her body as an apology for her blunder.”

He pursed his lips at the thought of the second part. Lady Stark was not exactly a young woman anymore, but neither was she some old hag. She was prim, proper, so very official in her mannerisms. Besides, Lord Stark had pumped five children into her over the years they had been married. There must have been something that kept him coming back under those noble dresses of hers.

Ah well, he had had his fun. He set the book aside, as there was no point in trying to hide it here. He’d just have to wait until it was time for his trial… or they decided to just send him flying off the cell cliff itself to save some time.
