“What?” Lulu asked with a cold expression as she stared into my soul, I gulped rather loudly as her eyes were throwing daggers across the counter at me…

“Uh… you seem to be doing well…” I looked around to avoid the glaring of the woman, deciding to in fact look at a passing by lady who walked by with Yukie in tow, going into a near-by room.

“Do not change the subject Najato…” I grimaced before looking back at the woman.

“What made you think that the shield I gave you could stop something as powerful as a shield barrier?” Lulu hadn’t changed much since I’d been here last in personality, despite giving her one hell of a fucking; I suppose the only difference is that she refers to me by name.

But I few things did change since last time, for instance, the revealing clothes that the futa family wore before were not rather… sluttier, not overly so, yet still with clear intent, Lulu’s own outfit was rather the exception, removing the cascade of belts from the front of her dress, showing her sexy black fishnets she had taken to wearing as well as her as well as her T-back panties with her bulge showing. “Uh, you see… I had confidence in your products?” I nervously floundered; Lulu just closed her eyes and gave a small sigh.

“Very well, I suppose it was my fault for not explaining it in detail” she leaned forward on the counter and stared into my eyes, “What I said before was true, maximum of five elements can be blocked with the Shield of Brimric, the elements are drained out over time and it is usually reusable within a few days, unless you go over the limit in which case it takes sufficiently longer, it can protect you from the most powerful of spells… but I expected your talent for not getting directly targeted would help you in the long run”

She raised her hand and a new puppet jumped on top of the counter.

“However, you should be mindful that barriers are COMPLETELY different from attacks” she pulled her hand back and punched the puppet, it crumbled slightly but stood upright, “That was what I was protecting you from, small attacks that would just increase the threshold against the same element”

She then raised her hand and a small fire started up on the counter.

“However, a prolonged effect such as this that is meant to impede your movements is less sound” she then flicked her hand and the puppet tried to run through the fire, it crumbled as it caught fire and disappeared with another flick of Lulu’s hand.

“I suppose your idea of passing the barrier through blocking the path of the wind was sound, but it was too powerful for that, and wind barriers actually more both ways rather than just one direction like a typical tornado, you would have been shredded if you weren’t so lucky”

I gulped again with her serious words; it was not doing well for my health to get all these life threatening situations explained to me.

“Well… I would normally ask for another one…” I began as she looked at me expectantly, “but I managed to find a kind of flaw in my ‘non-targeting’ spell, so I could easily get picked out if I don’t react fast enough, and I don’t think I would be able to tell sometimes about who is unaffected or not”

She raised an eyebrow, no doubt querying exactly how it was bypassed.

“Well… I don’t think I can go into details, so I’ll just say that VERY dark artefacts can make people build a resistance to the spell, I don’t know whenever it applies to weaker kinds of artefacts but I’d rather not take the chance”

She rested her arms on the counter, looking thoughtful before nodding.

“Very well, I can offer a few more trinkets for you to purchase, I would suggest two, so you have a failsafe in the future to fall back on” she then gained a shrewd look, and also with that faint twinkle of lust in the corner of her eye, “Now, I am aware that you paid in full for the shield, but I must admit to a little unfair play when were in the middle of the transaction”

I rubbed the back of my head as a faint feeling of sheepishness and smugness surfaced on my face.

“Well, I thought I would use all means to my disposal, you know?”

“Hmm, you are rather creative with magic despite being mediocre with it overall” she sniffed slightly; I guess I could take that as a compliment…

“In answer to your previous observation, yes, we have been doing rather well” she gave probably the first smile that didn’t have a hidden meaning to it, it was small, but still was rather endearing, “the previous transaction we had involving exchange of goods with sexual favours has bloomed recently, nobles seek out our residence most of the time, not many males… they are put off by the curse I suppose” she frowned slightly, “we have managed to amass quite the fortune, due to the women not having much in the way of paying it off the price completely…” it was rather amazing how a stone faced woman was now showing so many expressions, the competitive smirk was sexy in its own way. “We managed to draw out quite the fortune from those who simply paid over the difference with tips”

“I might be wrong, but it may have happened because you came by, as they came In after you, perhaps you spread the word, boasted about you ‘conquering me’” she gave a dull look that increased my pride just a little more with my sexual prowess. “Either way… thank you”

“Now back to business, are you planning to pay in multiple visits… or are you going to pull that cheap trick again?” oh, here is that steely expression again, I just chuckled nervously and leaned onto the counter.

“Well… to be honest, I actually have an arrangement for that” I looked over at the nearby bench, “Hey Lucy, there’s someone I want you to meet”

My blond girlfriend stopped looking and the joisting crowds and smiled in my direction, Plue was in her hands and dispelled as she stood up.

“Lucy… as I recall, that was your lover, no?” Lulu inquired, I smirked back at her rather appreciative glance up and down Lucy’s body “She is quite attractive”

“Well, since I decided to frequent here now and then, I just thought I’d share it with her”

“And share the payment? As well as the work into paying it off?”

“We’ve known each other for so long” I enjoyed the banter we were giving as my girlfriend finally slipped into my out stretched arm.

“Business before pleasure Najato” she answered curtly, licking her lips at the appropriate phrase.

“I might also need a few other things, just to let you know.”

“I might need to call the girls into this…”
