An Unwanted Surprise

Lauren trudged along quietly as Maria led her by the hand to her apartment. As she sucked on the pacifier, she began to wonder just where her life turned completely upside down in the past few hours.

A few minutes later, Maria opened the door and pushed Lauren into the apartment before closing the door behind them. Lauren looked up and gasped in horror, her pacifier immediately falling out of her mouth.

Standing in her living room was, not just Vanessa, but a large group of people who knew her as well. Lauren shrieked as she covered her flat chest, the entire room bursting out into a fit of laughter.

"No need to cover up, Lauren." Vanessa said with a cackle, "We already saw your little performance."

Lauren instantly paled as she involuntarily dropped her arms. They saw her dressed as a toddler on that stupid baby show?! They saw her get spanked by Karen?! They saw her wet herself on live TV?! They saw her getting her diaper changed?!

"Aww, are you still upset that you got a frowny face after you graduated potty training?" Kenzie asked mockingly.

"I wasn't interested before this happened." Danny called out, "Now? There's no way I'd ever be interested in you!"

"So that's what she looks like? Man, I can't believe I was jealous of her at one point!"

"No wonder she went on a baby show! She looks just like one!"

"Oh, how the mighty have fallen!"

Lauren felt her lip begin to quiver as she looked around at all the laughing and jeering people. She closed her eyes to fight back tears before opening them again, glaring angrily at Vanessa.

"You!" She growled, pointing a finger at her younger sister, "This is all your fault!"

"My fault?" Vanessa chuckled, "I'm not the one who made you wet yourself on live TV."

"Maybe not," Lauren responded, her face going red in anger, "but you're the one who stuck me in a diaper and left me in the hands of a psychopath!"

"Aww, is the baby throwing a tantrum?" One of the guests, who Lauren identified as Jackie, asked mockingly.

"Maybe it's her nap time." Another guest, Danielle, suggested as she stifled a giggle.

"I AM NOT A BABY AND I AM NOT THROWING A TANTRUM!" Lauren shrieked, stomping her little feet as the others in the room laughed even harder at the little woman. Lauren snarled as she looked around at the room again.

"This party is over!" Lauren snapped as she waddled over to her door. Turning back to Vanessa's little party, she opened the door angrily. "Now all of you, GET OUT OF MY APARTMENT! Especially you, Vanessa!"

The entire room went silent for a bit at Lauren's outbursts as they looked in the direction of the door. The silence was soon interrupted by a series of giggles coming from a few of the guests. Vanessa and Maria merely looked at one another before turning their attention back to Lauren, smiling smugly at the little woman.

"Are you all deaf?!" Lauren shouted, "I said, get the f- "

Before Lauren could finish, she swung her arm out and softly made contact with something. Curiosity getting the better of her, Lauren looked out the doorway...

Only to go white as a sheet as she saw her mother standing there in the doorway, looking down at her daughter.

And she did NOT look happy...
